Any fellow Bruce fans around? Saw him last Tuesday. yay fuckin' yay! What a show.
I'm ashamed that mother****** is from my home state....
Glad you enjoyed the show, though!
Well, why's that? Anything I'm missing out?
Wow i love Bruce Springsteen. I saw him in December and i have tickets to see him again in August. I can't wait. His live show is amazing.
....and the new Harry Potter movie comes out this summer. I can't wait to stand in line to get my tickets!!!!!!
if anybody caught the recent "rolling stone" issue with all the american Icons, you would have noticed The Boss alongside Bob Dylan and (who was the third guy? Silly me, I forgot). With 100's that could have been in that photo, there were only 3 that really deserved to be.
Anyways, i think Bruce Springsteen is one of the few rock and roll gods sort of speak. Amazing song writer, amazing longevity, and amazing drawing power still to this day. And by the way, I thought The Rising was an amazing record.
Just my opinion anyways,

Bruce Springsteen is a very cool dude...but, Buzzcock, i am also a closet Harry Potter fan...don't know why, but ya, i'll be inline with ya brotha!
well, I really adore 'Nebraska'. In my book his early material is sheer Poetry. Thunder Road, Backstreets, Born to Run, Racing in the streets... The Rising is a pretty good album too.
Plus he's a damn good looking man!
I hate every miserable saxophone-driven thing he has ever crapped out. And Asbury Park is a shithole. And Southside Johnny blows...
wolfpits - - I'm pissin my chair bro- - hahahahaaaa - - LIFE-SIZED BON JOVI POSTER!!!! NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I did have one of those I'd be really cool, though. Maybe from the 7800 Fahrenheit era... anything pre-Slippery When Wet was really outlaw rock hahahahahahaaa
actually, I saw Bon Jovi three days after Bruce Springsteen. Does that make me a bad human being?
well, see, I'm a poor german girl. I can't afford to fly over there and watch those monthly HoB shows, so..
no offence, I really like this forum, you're all tops!
Honestly, I cannot recall having ever listened to Springsteen. I've probably heard him, but i don't think i have ever listened. I have, however, seen the Adam Sandler impressions on SNL repeats. If that is any indication of what the real Springsteen is like, i probably won't be listening anytime soon. As for Bon Jovi, wow... I just can't see how anyone could like him. I try to be open minded and tolerant, but Bon Jovi???!!!
On a happier note, i am a BIG Cash fan, and I've heard his version of Springsteen's "I'm On Fire" and it's purty good. Then again i think almost all of cash's stuff is purty good.
i actually kinda like the guys from BJ. They wrote some pretty damn good rock and roll songs. Wanted dead or alive is my favorite. i dont however jerk off to the old 1986 issues of circus and tean beat with Jon on the cover.

Maedel!
OK- machts gut.

awww, that's the cutest thing I've read this year!

you actually like the Boehse Onkelz? That's interesting.
Hallo Lowlife Crud,
The german was very stripped down, not that I underestimate you or something

Hallo denn Julia.
And Gentlemen take note - - Smitten Kitten has a pic by her name now-- mmmmmmmmm caliente.
Dave - this means you man - take a look- she's hot in that Joan Jett kinda way =)
oh, the cute comment wasn't because the actual content of Lowlife's post. It was more concerning the german he used. Looked heartbreakingly cute. My english isn't probably very good either.
Yeh, I live in Schwabenland also. If that's you in that pic on the left, I'd say you look really schw?bisch
Quite pretty too!
However, I'm off now to watch some Springsteen DVD's and lick my BJ posters on the wall.

Okay...I'm dying to know what the hell he said...LoL
Bohse Onkelz immer wieder! hahaha - - die sind vollgeil.
Auch gut von Deutschland sind die Jungs von VOGELFREI. Die sind Kumpels von mich. Hier ist ne Webseite:

Kitten, believe it or not it was nothing crazy. I told Outrage that things may be different for a European rock fan versus an American rock fan. For them, Springsteen or Bon Jovi represent a somewhat exotic taste of American popular culture and it's very different for us (or for me anyways). I told her that it's all good, because we all have our favorites and I don't look down on her for liking them. It's what moves you in music that counts.
Okay, well now I know you wont look down on me for knowing I used to own a Bon Jovi CD when I was like 13. That was live a way long time ago, like 12 years. So yeah...Thanks for curving my curiosity.
Pardon my typos. That was a LONG time ago. I just retracted the "like". I'm trying to rid my online lingo of the valley girl tone.
hahahahaaaaa - - well, I'm from Jersey and everyone knows we butcher the language. And I owned a Bon Jovi 7800 Fahrenheit record when I was in like 4th or 5th grade or something like that hahahahahahaaaaaa
Hell- I happen to like Blue Flame Combo, and they are the Green Day of the Psychobilly scene. But I like them so I don't care what people say--- you keep rockin out to Bon Jovi and I say HELLS YEAH!!!!
Licking the Bon Jovi posters? man... crazy crazy crazy...
The Boss I will admidt puts on one of the greatest performances in history. I love Tele's to and that poor guy who has to catch his axe every night yeah ha.
WOW!!!! Smitten Kitten is one hot kitty cat. I'm blowing loads all over the place over here. MEOW!!!!!
Well the only good thing about BON JOVI is R Samboria. I mean he is a really good guitar player he destroys his talent by playing for a pretty boy glam rocker who only wants to see big haired girled mall rats. But I give him respect and only him for being a good muscian. If he put out a solo instrimental blues record I would by it. I like anything related to guitar now matter who the musicain is associated with or what he or she stands for. Exceot for that Tom Delonge guy. I mean the fact that this guys has a Fender strat signiture next to the Great Guitar playes of the 20th Century makes me uneasy. I really don't like that man he does not deserve the title he has receved. My opinion.
Hey - what about WINGER?

crud, you got me.
dave, in germany it wouldn't help you a single bit (obviously, since 99% of the boys around here speak some languauge that might be called "german" [reference to strange dialects]) but i could imagine it to work out in texas. it would make you look like a handsome world-travelling chap. yep, i guess the ladies would stand in line for fluently german speaking buzzcock. word
Chris - but if you look at her reply she's implying that I speak it like someone that has been hit in the head one too many times... hahahahaa..... so I'm a "charming retard" hahaha
yeah, but i'd rather be charming retard than a retarded charmer...
