Anybody installed the Energy motor mount inserts? If so I would be interested in your feedback.
Also.... Has anbody in here had a problem with breaking axel's w/slicks? My car has only made about 20 passes w/ slicks, but with my new modifications coming down the pipe, I am concerned I should go ahead and slate a check for new ones.

Hey there, yes i believe i am the ONLY person, besides Wil(1FSTGSR)to have AXLE problems.....
I was breakin axles LEFT and RIGHT, LITERALLY!
Sad part is i wasnt using slicks, jus my YOKO A520s.....
Wil told me to get the MOTOR MOUNT INSERTS and install them and i would have NO more problems.....HE TELLS THE TRUTH!!!!!!
I installed the front 2 mounts myself, where as for the back mount was too hard to get to so i had a buddy at HONDA put it in for me(same guy that installed JRSC).
The mounts vibrate only a tad......it doesnt bother me, but you know they are there!
ALSO, be sure to install LARGE diameter washers instead of the stock washer(small hole, large diameter).
Reduced MAJOR wheel hop, took off .15-.2 seconds off my 1/8th mile times, and it shfts and accelerates soo much more smooth.
Hard to believe <40> bucks makes that much difference!

I had no idea the motor mount inserts would prevent the axles from breaking.
I thought I was asking 2 unrelated questions.
What brand inserts did you use?

Jus get the Energy Suspension ones, like i said, bout 40 bucks.....
I forgot the part numbers, but jus get them for B-series engines, i believe they are all the same.....
I helped put some in a 99 Civic Si, and they looked jus like mine in my Integra....
But, DONT FORGET, the large washers!
And, you may want to put a thin layer of "saltwater-proof" grease on them...
The back one is hard......but the FRONT two ARE NOT, REPEAT, ARE NOT ON TOP OF THE ENGINE.......you must go UNDERNEATH to replace the REAL mounts!!!!!!!!!! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/cool.gif

Well the Axle is made from a one-piece billet forged steel bar that is turned to a smaller dimension via a CNC lathe. The Inner and outer boxes are stronger (built for front-wheel drive drag racing) and have a 90 day guarentee from the day you put them on the car. (can't beat that) If you can break a set I would be impressed. The week link would be your Diff. I have a Quaffe LSD so I am not worried about my tranny at all http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have the mounts and they work well. No axle problems. There is some vibration coming out of idle. Otherwise they're fine. Would recommend getting a mechanic/shop to put the back one in. Whew! Oh, yeah forget about wheel hop ever again.

So everyone here thinks the wheel-hop reduction with the mounts is significant enough to tolerate the extra interior noise?
I've got a Koni (yellow 2-way adjustables)- RSR race spring combo and I'm suffering from wheel-hop on uneven pavemnet when I mash the petal. Is the reduction in wheel-hop significant? Or should I switch to Eibach Sportlines? I don't think I can handle more cabin noise in the 'teg. I can barely hear the stereo as it is.
