I think I'm going with Gold Against the Soul, personally. Just more solid than GT, imo.

of the two listed, i will go with 'generation terrorist'. if we get to have a write in candidate i'm going with 'this is my truth tell me yours'.
the everlasting is one of my fav songs of all time. god i love that song.
Ummm...I'm not familiar with this album you speak of. We are talking about MSP, right? The band that released two albums, their guitarist/songwriter disappeared, then another, totally different band stole their name. That's the band, right? lol
i'll have to check and get back to you on that. lol
Not heard these 2 albums, but I have Everything Must Go, which I quite like, although I'm not a huge fan.
By the way, Richey Edwards, who disappeared 8 years ago, has just been fished out of the river, well Friday or Saturday he was.
Where did you hear that? Give me a link or something! I find it REALLY hard to believe that after all this time a body would still exist in the water.
I saw it over someone's shoulder in a newspaper. I'll try and find something to back it up.
Ummmm, you mean Richey James?
Richey James Edwards, but I can't actually find anything about the story, so it was probably tabloid BS.
Oops, my bad. His full name was Richey James Edwards. Sorry bro.
Just found an article, but tests have proven that the remains which were found were NOT Richey's.

This and the Iron Butterfly guy are two of the strangest stories in RnR history. From what I have heard though, teh river that they think he may have went into is notorious for taking people and never giving them back, in any shape. You kids in the UK can tell us what you know about that one.
Maybe the state of the Preachers now is to suck soooooooo bad that it will make him come out of hiding to stop them from fucking up the band he helped to create!
For the record, I am not too sure which one I would take of those two albums. I think I would go with "Generation" for the catchy, hooky side. But if I wanted some cool writing, I would take "Gold". But if I could take any of 'em, I would take the "Stay Beautiful" EP first, then "The Holy Bible", and probably be doen with them from there. Oh, but one would have to get a bonus track of their version of "Suicide Is Painless".
The River Severn is big by our standards, but nothing compared to yours (Mississippi, etc), but I guess finding anything in there is gonna be down to luck.
Where he supposedly jumped is pretty close to the ocean, isn't it? If he jumped, he probably would never be found.
If he did jump, then the mouth of the river does flow out into the Bristol Channel, then into the Atlantic. So there is that possibility of being washed away, or stuck in the mud on the bottom, like these bones were.
