I wasn't going to mention my Alice tribute, cuz I know many people here may be anti tribute bands, but I thought I'd put up this review after I saw a message about my good buddies, The Toxic Twins.

Can you confirm the date of the show?
On one page of the Standard website it says August 2nd, another page says August 5th.
I understand the Van Halen tribute act Unchained are playing there soon too.

Its Saturday 2nd August at the Standard Stacey. The Van Halen tribute are really good, one of the guitarists from Alike Cooper is in it.

What time's the gig? I am working that day so wouldn't be able to make it before around 9.30pm.
I think we normally go onstage around 10pm

Yeah, I definatly try to make it. I have a special reason,too.Martyn,who was Alice in this band before Banzai Baby was always trying to get me to play the part of a nurse in this band,hehe.But am trying to persuade Martyn and Marina to come to Decadenz afterwards,as they won't be able to make the gig,due to previous commitments.
That's a shame, I would have loved to catch up with Martyn.
I got a fukkin painful tooth-infection,can't fukkin even sleep.So can't quarantee if I be at the gig tomorrow or not.Whether yes or no,sure it will be rawkin!!
Had a great time at the show last night, Banzai! Nice to meet ya. Tongue-in-cheek and good fun, like you said. I'll show you the pics when I've got them sorted.
We narrowly missed the last tube into the city, so had to sit on a bus for over an hour. Got to Decadence about 1.30, so still had a couple of hours there. The music didn't seem as good this week, so you didn't miss much, although you missed Kira.
It was great to meet you too Stacey. It was a great gig. I was knackered though!!
