I'm telling you all, I am finding a buncha stuff I have never heard of before from new guy Homerslam! The latest that I REALLY like and I would lay money on it would go over HUGE with many of you is the band Miss Daisy! Anybody familiar with them? The album I got from Luca is Pizza Connection from '89 and it is really cool! It reminds me a bit of Steevi era Tigertailz with some Tattoo Love Boys thrown in, and the energy that Glorious Bankrobbers had. Very good stuff. The voice isn't like the bands I mentioned, but more of the music and energy level. Cool stuff.

pizza connection was one of the first glam/street italian albums to be recorded bu everything went down the drain:the audio quality was very poor(it's not a bad rip what you hear:i have the original album on lp and it sounds like the mp3 rip i have on hard disk) and soon enough the band splitted. this was the end for one of italy's best bands ever.

Hey, Carl I couldn't believe it when I saw you opened this topic!!!! Miss Daisy!!! Rocco - the guitarist - is a childhood friend of mine, the very first rehearsal I had in my life (we were like 15 or something) it was with him sharing gtr duties with me - none of us could even tune properly the bloody thing at the time!! Corrado and Fido were two old friends too of course, great great guys, a helluva fun to be with.
When they made their UK foray (they spent some time in London and they also went on tour with Motorhead and BOC) they were actually staying in my squat in Kensal Rise, this is in the same period I was with the Idols, late 80s. (I remember Buttz getting them to watch Spinal Tap for the first time at his place and they loved it - and they couldn't speak a word of English!!!). A great little band.
