Came across this game on another board, and no one over there seems to want to play it....so I'll see if i can get it to take off over here.

heres how it goes -

I name an actor (Jim Carrey).

The next person would post a movie that he is in (Dumb and Dumber) and an actor/actress that was also in that movie (Jeff Daniels)

The next person would post a movie that he is in (Speed) and an actor/actress that was also in that movie (Sandra Bullock)

leaving it like this:

D = Jim Carrey
NP = Dumb and Dumber - Jeff Daniels
NP = Speed - Sandra Bullock and so on and so forth.....

Now to begin:

Start with - Eva Mendes

*RULE CHANGES:

Sequels do not count as a new movie....for example....Back To the future is considered the same movie as Back to the future 2 and 3. therefore, they can no appear in sequential posts

Also - animated movies count as movies, and the actors would be considered the voices behind the animation...for example, tom hanks in Toy Story is a valid response.

Narrators/Voice overs, and any thing like that are valid as well, such as Bruce Willis in Look Who's Talking.

i disagree with this rule.
in using your own example... someone could say:

back to the future -- christopher lloyd

and another reply could be:

back to the future II -- mary steenburgen

as she is not in either of the first two movies.
this is true of a lot of sequels... like the godfather,
star wars, etc.

perhaps a better rule would be not to repeat
a movie (sequels ok) nor repeat the same character?

thank you for your input, but the rule stands...this makes it a bit more difficult.....that doesn't mean the sequels could NEVER be used, but not back to back. by using sequels, it makes it quite a bit easier....
