This might be old news, but I hadn't seen this whole list before of the price list for the MCM sale. Now I want to go!

Thanks so much for sharing this information. I check the museum website from time to time but had not seen this update. Thanks again!
Carol

Thanks for posting the list! Exciting, isn't it?

Do they have special prices for Lindsey, Kailey, and Marisol?

There weren't any listed. I doubt they will have any Lindseys, maybe a few Kaileys and more Marisols. I'm guessing this because last year they had only a couple of Lindseys I think, and lots of Kaileys (they still had Kailey at 9:15 when I got in with my ticket, but Lindsey was LONG gone) If I remember right, the Kaileys were about $85. Remember that all the volunteers get to go through the stuff before any shoppers, so I'm guessing any Lindseys that are there now, won't be there when the doors open.

Jo

Won't they have any doll clothes?

And remember that there are limits on how many of each kind of doll you can buy.

I don't think that is a complete list. I think that is a "teaser" list. I am pretty sure they will have some doll clothes.

Oh, those are such great prices!

Do people ever pick things up for other HB'ers? I'd totally love to give someone the money for either the 3-in-1 bed and/or Nellie and/or the Girl's Suitcase at those prices!

Now, do they just use permanent marker to put the X on the products or what? Because that should just wash off of things with rubbing alcohol... I wouldn't mind with the bed, but it would probably bug my niece to have an X on Nellie if she ever actually noticed it.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I think you're right. I think these are the things that there are a lot of,especially the "hot deals". There will probably be a little bit of everything. I remember last year Josefina's table and chairs was a "hot deal" for $15 and there were pallets and pallets of them.

Jo

There are some pretty hot deals on there!

Oh, wow, I would have loved to get Josefina's table and chairs for only $15, even though I don't collect furniture!

Not to mention AGT's, and maybe a Kailey!

(sigh) But I can't go this year--it's too far away, AND an hour or so on the other side of Chicago from me! Unless maybe I could carpool with someone in NC, or get my sister in VA interested in a "road trip"!

And DH says the travel would cost more than I'd save vs. ordering online; but it's just so hard to resist those prices! I still wanna go!

I know what you mean about the travel expenses. My sister and I go on a road trip every couple of years for a weekend of shopping. Last year, we decided to make a weekend of the MCM sale, then the outlets in Kenosha, and then Gerney Mills near Chicago. I looked at the travel expenses as "vacation expenses", then the AG stuff was still a deal. I bought so much of what we really wanted last year, I know I can't justify the travel expenses of going back this year. BUT, I'm still going to try and get tickets, and if I can manage to get a really great time (7:30 or earlier) I think I'll have to go again
Jo

I've already done the math and figured out that I couldn't possibly buy enough stuff to make it worth the trip monetarily...but I still want to go!

Do the things people buy flood eBay, or is it mostly people buying for themselves and their kids/etc.?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I think there's probably a good bit of both. I remember thinking it was weird seeing so many things listed with X's on them waaayyy back before I knew what they meant, so I'd be willing to bet that even more people would have caught on to the idea of re-selling items from the sale on ebay by now.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You need to grab everything yourself in your own bags and such and there are limits. It is to hard to grab things for other members, when your trying to get things for yourself.
