Wow, very cool!

My church in LA hosts a Praise and Worship conference each year and this past year we had John Ferraro (Larry Carlton) and John Pena (great bass player) as part of the band and conference. We spoke with Vinnie, but was a little out of budget. Gregg really wanted to do it but was already booked for sessions.

I WISH I could attend this!

Sean McCurley...... now there's a name I havent heard in a long, long time. I saw him back in '96 with Kirk Whalum. A great player, and a nice guy.

I think Abe Laboriel Jr. is a Christian like his father. His father is definitely a Christian. At several gigs, which I have seen Abe Laboriel Sr. play like at the Baked Potato, he mentions his Christian faith.

Regardless of whether you are a christian or not, that's an ignorant statement. Is Hitler imaginary simply because you've never seen him? Whether Jesus was God or not, he existed as much as any other person in this world.

If you expect people to respect your beliefs, you should respect theirs as well.

I had a chance to meet Carl Albrecht during our Praise and Worship conference. What a wonderful person.

As far as Abe Jr., I don't believe he is a Christian at this time.

I'm going to try my best to attend this conference for sure.

Hey there Roast. I don't recall seeing anybody pushing anything on anybody on this chat... This board is all about the music, and if there happens to be a group of drummers that are Christian and would like to put a clinic together, well, that's great. Yelling about this makes about as much sense as yelling about a jazz only drum clinic because jazz musicians are snobs and try to push their music on rock players...

Anyway, welcome to HOD and hope you enjoy the board. Lots of really good drummers here willing to share.
