Been watching a few auctions. I have one more than ends tomorrow I am keeping an eyes one, and if luck holds it will be a great deal on the rest of the Sam & Twitch line.
Been real lucky. Only think I have about 8 issues to hunt down after eBay wins, comic shop runs, and great people on this board that have helped (STD, Street Worm and others).
I'd thank Darth Pooh, but actually he is one of the major players to blame for starting this obsession! ;-) Only kidding buddy!

Some extras here and there in the auctions, and against what I picked up, but I am mostly complete with all the lines. I think after placing an order with SpawnToys, I am only down about 5 issues for Spawn and HellSpawn.

congrats! damn youre hooked on the books! how much did you pay for the bible? like to find one of those myself. maybe a spawn #1, #50 and #100's, but dont want to get hooked on collecting them next!

If you want one of the Spawn Bible issues - you are covered. I think I have ended up with 4 of those through the lot purchases.
As for #50, and #100 - those aren't that hard to find floating around. #50 i purchases in a lot, but have seen it around for $5-6. The #100 is another story. Ghostdawg and VirtualNYC found on at the comic/toy convention they went to a ew weeks ago and the Capullio(sp?) was $12. I came across the McFarlane cover and it was $7.5 at an out of the way comic shop. The orignal cover price was $4.95. The #100 issue was the only one that I considered getting the varient cover on. There were 6 all together. I really only wanted the Todd cover, but glad that Ghoast found the other cover for me as well as it is really good. The other 4 don't worry me that I don't have them.
I'll get a Spawn Bible out to you when I send the Pepsi-Man figure and keep my eyes open for the #50 and #100
I so things like this. I pretty much caught up the Spawn lines and such since I started in 2000 on Spawn. I only have 5-8 regular style figures to collect and I have my true final goal. My status right now is that I own one version of every McFarlane figure released. There are some repaints that I am trying to go back and snag (Redeemer, Cy-Gor, Spawn I, mangler, etc). I am no in a mode if I come across them as a good deal I'll grab them.
I wanted to go back and read the information on the character that is Spawn, and with a couple of very nicely priced lots that completed probably 85% of all the comics to date, I figured WTH - might as well!

Yeah - it is a good sickness!
When anyone comments on it, I just say that "it's better than drugs. Legal, cheaper, and doesn't affect the body as much!".
The comic bug has been a long time coming as i wanted to get those when I started to collect the figures, but it was just too much money going into the action figures at the time to do it.

That S&T Udaku is a fantastic story. Eight issues long. The TPB is in black & white. The comics them selfs were in color.
Now that you have all these comics you still have to find time to read them all. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Already finding the time aspawnfan! [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img] . Gone through StDA, and BloodFeud already, and working on CotS now, next on the list are all the offshoots. Just holding off until I complete the series runs beofre digging into them. So far the only outstanding ones are Spawn and HellSpawn.
At the pace I am going, they will all be complete by the time I am ready to dig in and read them.

StDA never hooked me at all. I dropped it after the first story arc. CoTS had some good story arcs in it. LOVE Suture. My kind of Woman.
Spawn the Undead. Very good. Liked seeing a different side of the current Spawn.

I enjoyed StDA. Nothing overly exciting, but enjoyable. Although it filled in a lot of blanks in my understanding.
CotS is turning out to be a really good read.
Darth Pooh has been telling me that the S&T and CaseFiles have excellent stories with them. I am not a really big fan of the artwork in those lines, or in HellSpawn for the most part, but if the story is good, that is what I am after.

They guy I won the S&T comics off of is great. I e-mailed saying that I was looking at another lot that ended tomorrow and would like to wait to pay to see if I won that one:

He priced it out for me at the base bid of the auction and included it in the same lot as the aucitons I won.
He also noticed I had a lot of duplicates in the lots I won (like 2 extra S&T #9, and 14, and Case Files: 1-6). he said he would include S&T 1, 2-8 instead. That means that with the Trade Paperback being in B&W, I have the color issues (well, all but 1 - not difficult to find though)
And he will be sending them out today.
Not often you get someone that will do all that over an eBay winnings.

my latest SW obsession..All it took was a couple little Silver Clone Troopers mentioned to me
by a certain individual and I've been off to the bloody races again. [img]wink.gif[/img] I haven't been this SW nuts in a while, but they've been doing some fairly cool stuff of late and I...ah crap you know. [img]redface.gif[/img]
