As everyone filed into the theater, I could literally feel the excitement of all of the little girls as they flipped through the little Emily activity book everyone received. Then, Sarah, our host who was dressed in 1940s attire, silenced everyone and began to test our knowledge of Molly/Emily trivia. I, of course, knew every answer, but being the good person I am, let the younger girls answer. After that, we watched the theater vignette, which was very short, but it WAS a vignette to begin with. It wasn't anything new to begin with, and even though I'd seen the Revue two years ago, I remembered the scene quite well.
Then the preview of the new items began. Everyone filed into the theater lobby in front of a gigantic version of Molly and Emily's new stage. My mom and I even thought it was a puppet stage because that's what it looked like, but after everyone was assembled, AGP employees started moving that "stage" away and arranging the tables of new stuff in front of us. And overall, I was pleased with the new stuff, though I know there are things like the stage and chiffarobe that I want but don't have money or room for.

Oh, and yes, we did pre-order Emily, her accessories, PJs, and robe! Molly cannot wait to welcome her friend home.

WONDERFUL photos, thank you! I wasn't sure if I liked Emily's Christmas dress, but your photos conviced me that it is indeed cute, it looks like such a 1940/50s party dress. Violet is going to love to wear it on her birthday in January!

What a fun night that must have been! I love seing the Emily premiere from all the different points of view at all three locations. I so wish I could have been to one of them! We got home yesterday evening. And then we had to go back to the train station to pick up our suitcases that had come on an entirely different train! [img]mad.gif[/img]
Molly says thank you for saying she's so pretty. She knows it, too. Poor girl is exhausted...falling into a deep sleep while still in her traveling clothes. [img]wink.gif[/img] She can't wait until Emily gets home...neither can I. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I am very excited for Emily! The movie theatre is so cool! I love her tap outfit and snow parka. I'm not too thrilled about her holiday dress, however. I can't wait!

Thanks for the great pictures. Emily has been number one on my Wishlist since I heard rumors of her. Molly has always been my fave, and probably always will be, but I really want Emily. I am trying to talk my fiance into letting me get her for my birthday (since it's in September too). Any tips for getting him to give in? [img]wink.gif[/img]
