I'm not really into the hippy, freaky shit, but thankfully the two bits of Vain I have (No Respect and All Those Strangers) don't really go there, and keep things rocking.
I'm gonna stick my neck out here and choose PBF, simply for the fact that I like pretty much all their material that I heard, even if it's been a long time coming.

I don't know ONE PBF album that could hold a light to 'No Respect' including LBWET, as with Stacey not mad fussed about the later CD's but 'No Respect' now there's a great album. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Though VAIN I like too, yet finding them too repetitive at times. Listening to all VAIN's albums that I have...Some tracks sound like another song only with different lyrics.
Don't get me wrong I like VAIN alot....But BRETTY BOY FLOYD wins my vote.

STab a bit of Murderdolls, and kick it around with some new hate breeded TIM TIM of marilyn manson, shake that smoothy up and damn what a tasty treat. oopsssssssss i think we just ate Vain and Pretty boy floyd..........ha ha

I first heard Vain and PBF at around the same time; Vain were FAR more to my taste than PBF.
Saw Vain wipe the stage with Skid Row back in '89, what a show that was...!
I was there at the Hammy O for that show!
Just turned up on the night and got a ticket for downstairs in the stalls. I don't think I'd heard much Vain before that gig, but was pretty impressed. The Skids were awesome back then, still are, even without Seb.
I was at the Newcastle gig in that tour. Skid Row were damn good, but Vain just annihilated 'em. SR only did 45 minutes, and that was including the cover of "Holidays In The Sun".

it was a YAAAAAAWWWNN fest out here when they played.
Skid Row without Sebastian is like the night sky without a moon. oh sure you see it from time to time but its just not as exciting.
Cobblers. Saw 'em with Solinger in Bradford late last year and it was probably the best I've ever seen them. Bloody great, they were.
Without a doubt....Vain. Tommy (drummer back then) carried me all around on his shoulders in hammerjacks calling me "little Sheehan".....I'll never forget that, he got my whole band slammed that night. Vain rulez.......Jayce

Just going back to Skid Row for a second (sorry Lycan [img]redface.gif[/img] ) I agree with Lee. I saw them twice in the fall and they were great. Jonny's first trip to the UK and he seemed genuinely humbled by the support they got. He may not be as obnoxious as Seb, which is a good thing.
Was the KC crowd one of those ultra-critical, arms-folded affairs? I caught the NYC show on Halloween which was good, but I think the London show was a cracker. We still like to rock in the UK. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
