All you SEAHAGS fans....
Just thought I'd post two sites from former SEAHAGS members. RON YOCOM(Vocalist/Guitarist) and KEVIN RUSSEL(Guitarist)...FRANK WILSEY(WILSEX) joined Stephen Pearcy in the band ARCADE...and CHRIS SCHLOSSHARDT(Bassist) died of a heroin overdose.

They all had their battles with heroin I believe, and that was the overall downfall of the whole band.
Ron still looks cool as fuck! I also love the fact that he has the same guitar in every picture.
I can't get the tuneage to work on my comp. though. But they describe it as Now Wave Hip Hop. [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img]

Ive been trying to get an interview with Ron for almost a year now, I'd love to hear all his stories!
As for Kevin Russell, he was only brought in by the producer and said that it wasn't really his type of music.
I loved the Seahags, still do and its tragic what happened to them. One of the few bands I would love to see live footage of but don't think that will ever happen. Anyone know how long they were about for and if they played a great deal of gigs?
Cool, thanks for the info Skid. I loved the one and only Hags CD. Always wondered what happened to Ron Yocum. I'm in complete agreeance with you Carl. Ron still looks totally bad ass. I checked out the 3 tunes. Um.....completely different vein. Not my cup of tea.

Andii, it is one of the last safe free downloads out there. If we get enough of us on there, then it should be all cool for everybody, and no risk of getting in trouble from the LAW. Luca and I spent one hell of a long time chatting it up the one night, and if you know me and chatrooms, you know that is saying alot about it. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
In Canada it's legal to download, but Illegal to upload??? I thought this was kind of bizarre. I saw some guy post this on newsgroup that made good sense.

I think it is very logical and fair towards the internet users. This is the direction all countries should take.
If you share files, you know if they would be illegal.
But if I download music, there is no way for me to tell if that piece of music is illegal or not. It could be something released to public domain by the author or perhaps an advertising mix for a new album. You download stuff in good faith. (I know none of you reading this download music off the net in good faith but there are plenty of people who do and there is a legal concept called presumption of innocence)
If you buy a CD from a store, you do not ask the owner to show you the shipping papers and the licence to sell you this piece of music just to make sure you don't get arrested after exiting the shop.
Better example:
If you are in a shop (christmas shopping and all) you are listening to the music. But how do you know the storeowner has paid for the right to play you this music. How would you feel if you got arrested for listening to pirated music?

What the hell IS soulseek anyway???
It's a transfer site, kind of like Kazzaa or bit torrent and Napster, but without the BS adware problems. Nice little site/program.

u just have to download the client from slsknet.org and install it. then choose a nick and a password and click connect.
u can also join or create chatrooms or send/receive pm instantly.
u can also decide whether to show your files to everyone or only to the users in your friendslist.
very useful:not perfect but a nice software
