I AM SO NOT SURE HAYSI WILL BEAT RYE COVE THIS TIME. THEY ARE LIKE LEBANON THEY HAVE GOTTON BETTER SINCE THEY PLAYED ON WEEK-4 AGAINST HAYSI.THEY BETTER NOT LOOK AHEAD.I AM A RYE COVE FAN AND ITS WRONG THAT HONAKER AND CLINTWOOD WERE NOT IN THE PLAYOFFS.I DO NOT THINK IT IS FAIR TO EITHER SCHOOL, BUT WE WON OUR DISTRICT AND WE TRIED TO STAY IN DIV-1 BUT WE WERE MOVED. WE ONLY HAVE 194-STUDENTS .SHOLD BE IN DIV-1 AS A NUMBER 1 SEED.SO TAKE YOUR FUSTRATION OUT ON THE VHSL NOT RYE COVE.I PULLED FOR HONAKER LAST YEAR IN THE PLAYOFFS BELIEVE IT OR NOT.

Its people like you that make rye cove look bad. I agree 100% the should be in the playoffs! They won thier district! And who the hell is whining? But my question is if Honaker and Clintwood Both derserve to be in the playoffs who do you think should be left out in the cold? GC the best team in the region. Haysi the BDD champs who defeated one of the teams you think deserve to be in the playoffs. Rye Cove who won the cumberland in a clean sweep. Or PV who played with GC really well

WELL LET'SEE.CLOUDLAND WAS 10-0 YOU WERE 9-1 AND HAYSI WAS 9-1 THAT'S 28 -2.RIGHT THERE IS 3 OF OUR 5 LOSSES.BY PLAYING THAT TOUGH SCHEDULE IT MADE OUR FOOTBALL TEAM BETTER.SO IN 2004 MAKE SURE YOU WIN THE DISTRICT. BECAUSE IF YOU PLAY RYE COVE NEXT YEAR WITH ALL BUT TWO RETURNING STARTERS WE MIGHT SNEAK UPON YOU.BY THE WAY I THINK HONAKER WOULD BE THE ONE TO GIVE GATE -CITY THE MOST SERIOUS CHALLENGE OF THE THREE TEAMS.

Rye cove deserves to be in. A lot of people forget that they had a lot to deal with other than football at the beginning of the year and also played some really good teams early on too like haysi honaker and cloudland as likevt45 said. Rye Cove will get to prove their worth this Saturday at Haysi and we will see how much they have improved since they played the first time.

Well I actually think Haysi is a better team than they were in week 4. The offense is finally clicking and that is a big part of why Haysi is better. They have played Tough D all this season with the exception of Clintwood and Ervinton. I really thought Haysi played their worst game of the season against Rye Cove. Rye Cove has improved a lot and I think it will be a thriller.

Yeah it was crazy how he went from a monster to a whimpering puppy back to a monster in the end. Alex was one messed up individual. Try reading the book. Its a hard read due to all the Lingo and Slang that was created to set the mood but its definitely worth it

Hey, I'm from Thomas Walker and they're D2 and i know they're not good at all but i think the VHSL should expand the regional playoffs to 6 teams that way GC, PV, Haysi, Honaker, Clintwood, and Rye Cove would all be in and everyone would be happy and there wouldnt be any controversy.
