Well I had my second kill today. New 2000 shiny silver vette. We got side by side at 80 MPH. I fourth gear I put around 6 car lengths on him to 120 MPH. Jim helped me tune in the fuel before I got back to work. Help out tremendously. Going to the Dyno Saturday to get the PMS tuned in by a pro with a wide band O2 sensor. She ran hot a little bit, replaced the raditor cap and it hasn't done it since, and also got a new 170 degree thermostat just in case the cap is not the fix.
But I am finally back on the road and ready for some more kills! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Excellent!!
Keep us dreamers posted on how the dyno runs go and timeslips if you get it to the track for sure.
Also Will, if I'm not askin too much. Once you hit the Dyno maybe you could share some PMS settings with so I can see how a professional sets it up since my luck has once again stopped me from getting on one myself. For now.
Good luck gentelmen.

I remember pictures and as much pertanent info as we needed in some pretty old posts. Search for them in the old stuff cause I know it's there. Good luck guys, and make sure we get to see the dyno plots.

is this with a stock m62 jackson blower? or is there anything in that department?
-
Yeah, Will, how about some specifics? Or are you going to be another TOO?????? :-D

yeah man spill the beans. we want to hear it all. you know we've all been waiting forever!

I always thought this engine was a fully built, B18C1 bored to 2.0L and boosted up the wazoo (15psi+).
That is enough for me! Any tuning secrets on this baby will likely not apply to a non-built motor.
I do want to see dyno's and time-slips! Bring 'em on!

Do I smell a hint of ENDYN/JRCivic super C1 blower? I say C1 cause from what I have always read, Larry likes the B16's for FI duties. Damn, if what they say is true (about Endyn modded blowers) you guys can put some seriuos power down and keep the motor happy at the same time. Just an idea http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Any guess on QM times? If you're taking stock C5s by 6 lengths from 80 to 120 I'm guessing low 12s or better.

From Will's car... low 12's would make me really happy.
Since mine is far less civilized, I will accept nothing less than the 11's.
