An old story but I still find it interesting as when we were there for vacation we soon found out you were NOT allowed to by law to pump your own gas in Oregon. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img] Wierd I tell you. I mean there is no choice about it. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU ..
But now maybe they will...
STORY
Full service price no real different then paying for Gas in Colorado at that time. Which would have been Sept 6th- 10th before the trade towers so not really. After that I wouldnt know as we flew home late that night.
How ever another point though is that they had no tax so if you bought a soda for 75cents it cost 75 cents when you got to the counter which was another thing hard to get use to. That and if you was conviced of DUI they took your car.. simple as that.

Full-serve stations here in CT are roughly 6 - 10 cents more per gallon than self-serve stations.
Well here are their current gas prices... looks like they match CO for the most part.

Cya, I don't know which orifice they're pulling their gas prices out-of, but even the High Price category in Bridgeport, CT. is unthinkably cheap around here. $1.85 - $1.95 is the current average for regular unleaded.
we range $1.45 for reg - #1.69 primium here in CO pretty close to Denver

Living about 60 miles from the Oregon border I sometimes travel to Oregon.Actually I go down I-84 to get to Washougal.Anyways,yes they dont let you pump your own gas and its irritating.You pull up,and sometimes the attendant is there sometimes he/she is not and you wait.I think the intent originaly was to provide jobs in Oregon.There gas prices are no higher then here in Washington,though that could be because Washington has the highest gas tax in the U.S..
Oregon has no sales tax,but they do have a state income tax.Washington has an 8.1% sales tax but no state income tax.Choose your poisen I guess.
In Arkansas...Right now...around my house...it is averaging around $1.35...but I saw it as low as $1.29 last night...
