Here's the latest info from tyla's website regarding all the forthcoming cd's, dvd's etc
The State We're In has been re- released by label GMR Music and can now be ordered direct by sending and email through Tyla or online @ Changes One
As mentioned previously on this site the release is the Original 1984 mix with new artwork sleeve and Bonus Cd Rom including video clips/promo videos for "How Do You Fall In Love Again and "The State We're In". Visit GMR Musics website by clicking on any of the covers above.
Tyla conveys his apologies to you regarding delays, there was some sort of problem with the pressing plants and GMR chose another one. Hopefully the wait in the end has been worth it. Other news regarding the other Cd's Poet and The Dragon (Live with Dregen) and Fakin Kant is that these should be ready in the next few weeks, same scenario with Live or Death DVD. It is intended When Bastards Go To Hell will be ready for posting January.
As yet nothing more concrete. Will update track listings for all releases, who's playing etc on it and exact release date as soon as I know.
If anything changes I will bang it on the site or post a message to the list.
Tyla is also talking with some promoters at the time of writing hoping to arrange some Dogs dates. Intended if all goes to plan these will be in June 2004. He is hoping to arrange beforehand some solo gigs so keep checking the news section for any further updates
Ian
I would love to see Dogs live they are a band that I think you love or hate and I have never had chance to see them all together but seen Tyla solo many time and he is an amazing down to earth entertainer
Have seen the Dog's live loads of times. If they are playing near you definatley check em out.
Well I am in the Midlands so I image they will play somewhere near by like Nottingham or Birmingham
I saw the Dogs on the only tour that they made through the States. Back right after "Graveyard" came out. Tyla was shocked as hell that I actually had the "Graveyard" album. Hung out with them and Jo Dog gave me a set of Dog-tags and Tyla drew a self-portrait on the Dogs T-shirt I bought. I was an idiot and wore the shirt, and now the artwork is a little faded, but it is still there. Hung out with them and Mother Love Bone for hours. All of them were really cool guys.
Carl when they used to play Birmingham regular Tyla and the guys used to drink in a pub round the corner from the venue. Always remember people standing in the queue to get in ad the dog's would waltz past on their way to the pub.
Had a chat with him a few times. Last time I saw em at a smaller venue in Birmingham I was stood at the bar having a pint and a smoke when this guy asks me for a cigerette. Only turns out to be Bam the drummer, anyway has a good chat, he gets us a few beers and hands me a couple of t-shirts and then off he disappears to get ready for the show.
Damn so my log on is now Dragster 7 and my name has changed to Dan. Wish people would let me know these things as i'm easily confused these days lol.
Well is it not uncommon to have a split personality disorder lol!!!

right for those who like Tyla -go buy Poet and Dragon if you see it available it is fucking superb. Fakin Kant is also good as well - little bit different than usual -it seems darker lyric and music wise. Theres also something else about it but I can't place it at the mo. Maybe a few more spins and I'll work it out
Does the offer of a copy of the Tyla disc still stand I have ordered the Poet and dragon one http://www.hostboard.com/forums/
