I checked too and while I am italian I only know a few curse words,how to tell someone they are giving me a big headache and the word money. Not very impressive on my part so I have no idea what your website says.
<font size="3" face="Arial">Hi CCL, that's my band, Zoo di Venere, unfortunately our site it's all in Italian (we're from Rome) so probably hard to understand if you're not familiar with the language. We have a deal with a label distributed by Warner and our album is out just now, with our single "Killer" featuring a video shot by Richard Lowenstein (he did all the INXS videos + some U2 and Nick Cave ones). The music is as usual hard to describe... I guess they're rock songs, with raunchy female vocals (we have 3 ladies in the band)... on our web page you'll find some audio samples.Quote:

It's actually the Italian title (here in Italy movie titles get translated in Italian unfortunately) of a Peter Greenaway movie, "A Zed and two noughts". I just liked the "Venus' Zoo" imagery for a mostly female group that plays romantic rock songs... Love and animal attitude... even if, let me tell you, me and the drummer are the most romantic persons ever... the 3 girls are the f****g animals!!!

Re weather: It's exactly the bloody same, would
you believe - 8C and drizzly.
I'd believe it but oh well,the scenery alone can rememdy that. Even the greyness of a rainy day looks better there. I've seen so many photo's(unfortunately not a trip I've made)from friends that have been to Italy. Actually one of my friends is an amateur photog and she took all black and white photo's. Fabulous. If you did that here..drooooolllll.
I learnt how to develop SLR photography,
last year. Very rewarding. I'll be taking
a DVcam with me because I want (coastal)
footage for a short-film I'm making.
If there's any interesting stills, I'll
let you know. (The film won't be ready
for a month or so.)

I envy you your adventure. I'm sure it will turn out beautifully. Keep me posted yes. Throw some stills up on your web site when they are ready. I'm sure you'll have loads of new inspirations and more will come from this than you can imagine now.

Sorry about asking it just sounds weird to me that someone from the UK has to come over here in Italy to record, as notoriously in most studios here - even SSL and Neve equipped ones - Italian engineers don't have a bloody clue of what they're doing.
