NIKKI SIXX Throws Bass at Kids head...WTF?

I was just on surfing around at music news...and found this story in 3 different sites.

Just got back from the BOD show in Sparks, NV @ The New Oasis.
Part way thru the set Traci threw his guitar out to the crowd. Next thing you know, Nikki goes over to Traci's side of the stage and LAUNCHED HIS FUCKING BASS AT MACH 10 speed into the crowd. He then jumped down with Traci and all hell fucking broke loose. After the crowd was pushed away by security and Nikki was pulled back on stage (giving whomever he hit with the bass the middle finger and saying "Fuck You!") there was a kid on the floor lying in a pool of blood... and he was not moving. I am not dramatizing this at all... it was a very uncomfortable situation. People were pissed off at what had happened. This was an all ages show, by the way.
A few minutes go by, paramedics are there and they revive the kid from what I heard. I saw him get up and his head was FUCKED.
10-15 minutes later the roadie comes up and says they are going to finish the show. He blamed the incident on the moshing that was happening. WTF? Everyone was joking "Just as long as they quit throwing shit at us (the audience)". Sad to say, BOD should have called it a night. They never recaptured the energy.

I would picked up the bass and rammed him in the head and when he's double-up in pain...take it and shove it up his ass.

I dunno something just doesn't add up here. I can't see them just out of the blue say hmmm ok we are going to kick..........YOUR ASS and bomb them with guitars and basses that just doesn't make sense.

I think you judge to quickly though without even knowing what happened really. You have heard a account of what happened.

I've heard a few accounts that all clash from Sixx throwing his bass to the kid getting hit with Tracii's guitar by the audience that was fighting over it.

Apparently from what I've heard and this is not facts the kid was hassling Tracii all night.

I don't know what happpened I wasn't there so i'm not gonna pass judgement on anyone. I do know there is video of this though.

As far as age goes, it doesn't matter how old you are some people react out of the heat or the moment and do things without thinkin everyone just about does that or has at some point. So I don't think it's fair to just automatically get pissy or start a oh it's Sixx fault thing.

If the kid pulled a gun or knife or something of the sort, then a guitar to the head might be justified, if the kid had nothing but harsh words, then I hope either Tracii or Nikki (or both) spend a good deal of time in jail and have to fork over a damn nice chunk of change to the kid. Words are words, a big fucking bass or guitar to the head is much more severe, don't ya think? Get off of their nutsacks when common sense should rule all. It would take a hell of a lot to deserve a guitar to the head.

It has not been confirmed if Tracii or Sixx either one even hit the kid.

Like I said before I have heard the kid got hit by a bunch of fans fighting over Traciis Guitar. But hey I can admit that is a rumour I don't know what happened and neither do any of you because none of us were there.

That is common sense.

Will you atleast admit though, that if Nikki or Tracii DID hit the kid with a guitar, then no matter what provoked it, they are asses for doing it?

If the kid was beaten up over a fight for the guitar, then I will take back calling them idiots.

You know what probably happened? Tracii held his guitar into the audience for people to strum on and such, as we have all seen done. A bunch of goofs decided to pull the guitar away from Tracii. This then lead to Nikki running over and swinging away or throwing his guitar in to break up the ruckus and to reclaim Tracii's guitar.

From the varying stories, that would sound like a logical explanation. If that is it, then Nikki is an idiot who lost his cool. Now come on, we all know that is 100% possible with Sixx.

Yeah, I know if I got Tracii's guitar I would then hit the closet person over the head with it as soon as possible. Obviously it couldn't be Nikki or Tracii's fault though, it's not like it was their fault they threw a guitar and a bass into the crowd. And besides, someone probably just punched the kid, it's so easy to knock someone out and leave them in a pool of blood without a large heavy object.

*Now for my real opinion*
Unless someone rushed the stage, grabbed Nikki's bass and hit the kid on the head with it... it's Nikki's fucking fault, no matter what happened before hand. End of story.

I have one at home for recording and it's very big and quite heavy.
The kid sounds lucky, it could've cracked his head open like a walnut.

I think this is fucking rediculous, even IF someone was fighting for Traci's guitar, that does NOT justify throwing your fucking BASS at them. LAME. Some people need to grow up..

Whats a talliwager? Oh,this wouldnt be the first time bands throw things in the audiences guitars included..Ah,that reminds me,once after a Hanoi Roxx gig Razzle threw his drumsticks to the audience and one of them accidentally hit a girl I know..the girl hit the floor..but nothin serios happened,thank god,heh.Razzle come out 2 look 4 her and apologised and took her address.A few weeks later she received a parcel with lots of Hanoi records,pics etc and an apology letter and..yes,you quessed it..a pair of his drumsticks!!Awww,ain't that sweet! :-)

Something tells me....Nikki isn't about to give the kid all of Motley's CDs and photos..and say here son...take my bass....WACK...over the head again....LOL!!!

Actually this bass-throwing fetish isn't exactly new to Sixx. I saw Motley at Donington waaaay back and he threw his bass into the crowd then. Or, more precisely, into some poor fucker's face! Apparently the unfortunate victim was invited backstage at their subsequent Dominion show, was generally pampered, and was presented with a bass by the mighty bass-thrower himself. Don't know if he tried to take revenge with it though. I think I would've.
