I haven't picked up a fiure for my collection in 3 weeks.
I've been lucky enough to find items for others, but nothing for my collection.
I may have to go out and just buy a GungDam model to have something to screw up as I learn to paint just so I can say I bought something for me!
Although it also means that I probably need to get off my ass and pack up the boxes I have for ghostdawgg, Street Worm, *marv*, Nomalas, KillerKanuck, and Skull Pit [img]redface.gif[/img]
I know what you mean... I went to TRU last night, and kept picking stuff up, then putting it down, going, "I'm just getting this because I can't find anything else... I don't really want it..."
Walked out with nothing.
They even had the Mucha Lucha figs I wanted too! But DAMN - too expensive for the size of them... $12.99 for a two-pack, and they're small...
Don't want them THAT bad.

there's not a lot of current stuff on the shelves right now that interests me.

Hell series 24 took forever to get to okc, and by the time they did, all i could find was swat spawns, im still looking for a damn wall spawn to complete that set.

Ive seen them chaser and i definitly want the redeemer figure, i want them all acept sam and twitch.
But i don't want to have to wait 6 months after their release to get them in okc, it takes forever for shit to hit here.

I bought a figure for the first time in about 2 months the other day. I happened to notice that wal-mart had gotten in a bunch of the ROTK wave, and had a ton of the haradrim archer. I figured at $4 and some change, it was a good deal, and the figure is cool. even though the articulation in his hands is a bit of a bitch for holding the bow.
I'm mostly just waiting for the new lines to start appearing..tortured souls 3, the new reborn line, s26 and the monsters line have perked my interest in collecting again.
How is the hunting market up your way most of the time Tort?
I am thinking about heading up that way for a photographic outing, and just curious if I should put some time aside for hunting the figures!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">it's kind of hit and miss here lately. sometimes they'll get in a massive shipment of figures, but when they do, they're gone within days. especially at the wal-marts. but it is worth a shot, cause sometimes you can snag a harder to find figure at the KB and TRU in/next to the jefferson mall. there's also a little toy shop around here that has a lot of older mcfarlane stuff that's MIP, and a ton of loose figures as well. the guy kind of sticks it to you with his prices though..he had a loose tiffany 2 with no base, and none of her weapons, and had priced her at $8.Quote:

Cool. My wife and I have been trying to take the time to go up to the Zoo in Louisville, and show her the area.
Any chance you can send me the info (location, directions, etc) to that little shop that has the older figures? I gave a few on the hunt list from the earlier lines I am still looking for.
May give the Jefferson Mall a visit as well, and then depending on time back taht day, mighy have time to hit the Bowling Green mall as well. Major hunting day that would be.
