sad sad news about Briar

I got this e-mail from Briar's brother today

By now, some of you may have already heard the news. I am hoping that this doesn't come as too serious a shock for any of you, but Judy passed away Saturday evening as the result of a brain aneurysm. She was in the company of her boyfriend, Don, at the time, but there was absolutely nothing that could have been done to save her.

I realize that some of you may only know Judy very casually as I have gained your e-mail addresses from her contact list on her computer. Nonetheless, I couldn't just ignore this list as this will certainly mean a lot to most of you.

You can rest assured that Judy was very happy during the days and weeks leading up to her untimely passing; and she is equally as happy now as she and Dustin have been reunited.


The arrangements are as follows:

Visitation: Wednesday, March 3 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm
Funeral: Thursday, March 4 11:00 am

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.


I knew some of you would want to know this.
We have lost a wonderful lady...one i met in person

I just can't believe this in shock *walks away crying*

OMFG!!!...I am in total shock here...I'll come back in awhile when i can stop crying, so i can see what i am typing

Im not at all sure what to say..She had been thru so much with Dustin and everything else in the last few years..who could have known what was going to happen..it makes you appreciate life more when something like this happens..i hope she has found peace where she is now..knowing Dustin has his mother with him is a peace to me..as i sit here and watch the rain..i remember all the fun times we all had with her..i miss her already..more so now..knowing there were things i wish id have had the chance to say..I wish her family comfort and i will be thinking of them all..

I feel ill, her poor boy. Her poor family... This is tragic.


I'll miss you Judy, so much!

I am completely heartbroken today
Judy and I have been freinds real time for over 6 years. We've been through so much togather and been a tower of support for each other through so many tough times. We talked late last week about our plans to hook up again now that the nasty winter weather has ended.
I'm feeling pretty angry right now and want to vent about how unfair life is and question all my beliefs in faith and hope...and right now, isn't a good time.
Just know that the world has lost an incredible lady, a loving mother/daughter and a very special freind

OH lily! :hugs so tight- Angry is part of it all, angry, afraid, alone, lost, sad, happy.. It will all come and being angry is okay. The world is pooer for having lost her, but we are richer for having known her. She taught us all so very much and she will continue to teach us even more. We have lost a wonderful woman and a special friend. Now that I can post this without bursting into tears. I'm going to miss the phone calls!! I'm so sorry , I'm here when you need me. You can call, or mail... anything!

Ohhh lily..i looked everywhere for that picture..i had it saved for you..but i wasnt able to find it before you posted it..it made me smile..i remember when you asked me to post it for you..how cute i thought it was then..bless her loving heart..such a sweet smile...

I havent been to hostboard in over a year, and its ironic that for me to set foot here again its because of a death of someone i once called a friend.

I guess this just hits home that life is short...and that you really never do know what tomorrow holds.

To those of you that i havent talked to in forever but were/are friends...i still love you, even if i'm not around to show it.

i didn't know Judy...but reading the words i've read...and seeing that photo...i wish i had

it's a beautiful photograph....brought a smile to my face

in the hearts of all who knew her, her memory lives on

my thoughts go to her family and friends

CG just told me about Judy *tears*

God Beth hit the nail on the head.
I know I'm not always here, Brady keeps me busy
That does not mean though that you all are not in my thoughts
I love each and every one of you so much
You have all changed my life in so many ways
and shaped the person I now am today.
Judy was one of the most beautiful ladies to ever grace this place we call earth.
I hope with everything that I have that she has her little angel in her arms once again.
That's about the only thought that provides any bit of comfort right now.......

I really have no words to say that could justify Judy and the type of person that she was. A woman I sincerely admired for her strength. She will be greatly missed and the one thing that can bring a small relief is knowing that she and Dustin are together again.
Her family and all her friends are in my prayers.

Judy, I feel honored to have known you, however briefly.

Its time's like these when we loose a dear friend that we relize how dear life is. We all have hardships to live thru & no matter how tough there's always someone out who's got it rougher.. I regret that Briar not only knew this but had to live thru it twice.. To loose a child is like dying yourself, she didnt deserve to die again..
