Now, it's highly possible that I will get him. I still think that he is perhaps a little bit out of place, but the pictures do look very cool. This could quite possibly be the first line from mcfarlane that I will buy every figure from.
It's nice to see a trailer that actually shows something this time around.
What I saw just reinforces my initial thoughts on the line: I'll be picking up Jack, Rasputin, and Billy. Maybe I'll buy Vlad, depending on what he looks like.
The sculpts look fantastic, especially Jack, who looks amazing. And I like how Billy looks nothing like the real Billy the Kid-- and no, I'm not being sarcastic-- the real Billy was a goofy-looking bastard with fucked-up teeth. The figure actually looks badass.

Honestly, I was expecting monsters... y'know, like demons, zombies, ghosts, etc.
When MoaK posted the lineup, I was stunned. I was hoping my buddy was pulling my leg and posting the list as a joke. McFarlane took me completely by surprise, and honestly, I wasn't happy with the direction... a Monsters line made up of humans? What the fuck?
I know about the whole broadening of the term of "monster," so I don't need the lectures. It gets to the point where you have to ask where the line is going to be drawn...
McFarlane produces a Vlad the Impaler and a Jack the Ripper, so is it okay for them to produce a Blue Beard or an Ed Gein? And do we need anymore humans in the Monsters line?
It's like McFarlane announcing a pirates line and then listing the lineup as Donald Trump, John D. Rockefeller, and Lee Iococa.
While Monsters 3 looks great and the McFarlane crew has done an outstanding job, I hope that for Monsters 4, we'll see something more traditional-- Cryptozoology, "Classics" 2, Urban Legends, or Mythology.
Y'know-- monsters.
