thats a pretty expensive 13 and a half second car. why dont the regular joe buy a used 94 gsr for about 6-8k and put on a supercharger 2500? and run almost the same times as you for alot less and alot more classier!!!

4 DEVILS, yeah, you can go buy a civic for about $5000 then slap on a motor,$3000-4000,then slap on a charger $2500.now what does that equate to ?
10,500-11,500.Now take into consideration all the other parts i've listed.They're basically free.If you go back and look at the cost on the b18c1 motor i listed,i posted $2000,and i actually paid $3,500 for it.yeah,any joe-shmoe can buy a cheap civic and slap a joe shmoe motor in it,but when they're cruisin around town,everyone will look at their car and say "THERE GOES ANOTHER JOE SHMOE CIVIC",but with my car,i have everyone complementing me on the way it looked and the way it runs.So to put it plain and simple
"anybody can buy a cheap ass car and slap a turbocharged or supercharged motor into it,but it ain't gonna look or drive like mine,and when you pull up next to me after i smoke you,you can reach over to your passenger side of your civic and MANUALLY roll down your window,and ill use my power window,thank you.

on a quick note...some of the stuff im sure you didnt pay FULL RETAIL for.
v-afc - 500?? try 350
h&r springs - 300??? try 140
who would want to buy a used boosted engine anyways?? maybe if you were selling this for 8k or less, someone would jump on this deal. get practical, some of you guys inflate the worth of what you have and try to get more for what you have then what you deserve.

knucklehead, i paid 500 beans for the v-afc,and i paid 300 for the H & R springs.and one more thing to top off this whole conversation,knucklehead , did you see 1 listing for all the labor involved ?
NO,now go ahead and add the labor cost for all the parts listed,then what do you get,more expenses,how much does labor for a JR sc cost,$400-500,how much does it cost to hook up all the electrical ? $100 or more,how about changing out the pulley to 10 psi ? how bout them H and R springs ? how bout that motor ? how bout them DC headers, how bout that exhaust ? How bout the stereo? how bout the bosch fuel pump ? how bout the cam gears ? how bout dyno time? how about the painted motor not even listed ?? oh the windows are tinted ,not listed,indiglo gauges?now do things seem to come together a little better.I thought so .........

it's a 94 motor. it had 40k on it when i bought it. i supercharged it at 70K. ive always changed the oil every 3K with synthetic.i havn't had one problem with the car ever.

4 devils, 8 g's in the bay area will buy you a clean bone stock civic. thats about it. the price of a GSR swap reguardless of mileage is in the 3 g area.

I kind of understand what 4devils is referring to. Most guys think because they put $20,000 in to a Chevette, they will get the $20,000 back, plus the $500 they paid for the car. I've had to take many beatings to sell cars that I've modified because other people don't believe in the quality of the workmanship nor the value of the parts. I am not saying your car isn't worth the money your asking. I think that 4Devils is saying not to overestimate what you think you'll get, because to one person or another it's still a 94 civic. I personally think its a good deal. My friend bought a stock 95 EX for $8500 with average miles. Stick to your guns, you have a hot car and you should be able to find someone to name your price. He'll have to pay cash though, a bank won't finance that old of a car for that cost.
