Morning all. No tropical storms here but the monsoons have been reeking flood havoc all over the state for the past few days. Almost had to row my car home from work the other day! [img]eek.gif[/img]
Better hope to God don't start raining on you or the grass isn't wet. Isn't fun cutting in the rain.. *mutters*.
Work today is up in the air, as of this moment it's up to department heads if we stay throughout the day or leave early. we're not even getting phone calls.. Now THAT is strange.

There is poverty, and just like Mexicans and cubans, many poor Dominicans try to cross to Puerto Rico in large groups in boats in search of the promised land. But they do it because the guys who make these incursion fill on their heads with promises of a better life while collecting money from their pocket, money they should use to put a small store or buy goods for resale. I wasn't aware that DR suffer those same problems. Is Puerto Rico any better? I guess any island country that has tourism as their main trade must suffer a large population of poor people.
