I'm not the biggest fan of Hunter (all those DOWNSTATER'S!!! ...flame on... j/k) so two trips in one year isn't going to happen for me.
BTW, I'm a "former expert". The brain still knows exactly what to do, but exile in New Jersey for 5 years and having little kids has kept me from skiing more than a few times a year since my college days. But I'm still fast and almost never fall.

I am soooo jealous of you !!! I have been dreaming about a Whistler/Blackcomb trip for three years... only problem is I cant convince the wife to go... she really is not a big skier. So, I just settle for whatever snow I can get...
My wife's time off work seems to be around the 22nd of Jan., so that weekend will be the time for me. I would love to meet all of you guys for a long weekend trip then.

I doubt the downstate crowd will go to Whiteface. Hell, that's a 3-4 hour drive from Albany!
I'm wide open for Jim's 1/22 or thereabouts prediction.
I'm out for 12/26 because I'm having 11 people stay at my house for Christmas and will probably not have gotten rid of them all by then!

The 22nd of Jan. is a Monday. Im down to go that day, I could miss a day of class, the semester have just begun.
To anyone else who wants to meet up that day, please post. This is a pending date, but should be around this time. More info to come.

I would go to Whiteface but it's just too far for me for a day trip (Im from NJ). Im not as hardcore skier or snowboarder as any of you guys. As I said before Im an avid skier, so Hunter is a step up from the mtn. of the Poconos for me.

Whenever I end up skiing, my ride will be there too, albeit with 14" steel rims and snow tires!
Test drives are no problem, but with no grip and mushy tires, you won't really feel the car properly.

There is more to Whistler/Blackcomb than skiing/snowboarding. The village is nice and the atmosphere is great. You can spend days there and not hit the slopes. Lots to do/see.
If you get a chance, drive to Whistler from Vancouver. The Sea-to-Sky highway is one of my favourite stretches of road.

I will be driving up to ski in late January... unfortunately, I will not be bringing any Supercharged Honda's on this trip. I will be driving my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. This is a much better trip vehicle and it already has a ski rack on top... it doesn't get the best gas mileage of the cars in my stable, but it does provide the most room and the smoothest ride.

i haven't made any plans on a specific date. i keep looking at this thread and if i'm able to go on the date(s) you guys set...i'll join the group. yeah i hear ya about the no honda over the winter. looks like i'm gonna grab that 93 jeep grand cherokee limited i mentioned earlier in the post. so...we got 4wd...rather...full time. I have my own ski equipment so that helps where i don't have to rent(time saver). I just gotta get my ski legs back.
