I will probably regret posting this, but anyway. Recorded about a year ago. Excuses: sorry, these are typical, corny function band songs at a typical function, and, tempos were somewhat unstable or racy on my part, lol. Something I'm always working on and which I think has improved even over the last few weeks [img]redface.gif[/img] I've cut bits out since it was too large a file, and it's now 33mb for about 2mins:38secs if you feel like D/L it. I think the spielberg intro is the best bit [img]tongue.gif[/img]

those are actually 8 and 10 and 15 power depth toms. I've been meaning to start using 10 and 12 on top, and I will, just need to get an emperor for the 12. The mapex is a 12" soprano maple black panther, and I've had it for a few years. I love it since it's fast and funky, got a nice pop to it, but, I'm leaning towards getting something else a little louder, maybe one of the gadd signatures.
We've got different chick singers now, even more tasty [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Erm, I think those overheads were from our AKG drum mic package with the D112 bass drum mic, clip on tom mics, and my sm57 snare mic.

Hot lead/backup singers. Gotta love a treat for the eyes, as well as for the eyes/soul.
Rudy, you've got a nice Recording custom set. Looks like a 20" bass drum, with the larger toms, ala Steve Gadd w/ James Taylor? Is that a Mapex Snare you're playing as well? How do you like it?

Not sure plaid. I don't know if your windows media player is just opening and loading the file. Maybe right click and save instead?

I actually thought the blonde looked like Will Lee singing back up. Sorry if that was crude but that was my first impression.
What program did you use to make this? I have a mac and when I download it, it's a quicktime file.
I like the intro- going directly into the singing. It's like a scene out of a movie. Your drums sound good from the little I heard. Sounds like a really nice bass player too!

Here's what you do:
Right Click and Save Target to your local hard drive, BUT change the file name from .mpg to .zip and then your computer uncompress the 3 files.

Intersting ladanny. I actually zipped 3 mpgs and renamed the zip to mpg to make it one clip. If reversing that works, cool.

I was talking to him about thomas lang, and interestingly, gabriel told me that he got thomas the meinl endorsement since gabriel was already endorsed with meinl. Also,( and this is not gabriel boasting, he's just not like that as I'm sure you know), but he told me that while he was playing a left foot clave thing whilst playing on top, thomas was watching and was really impressed with the idea. So gabby got him into that whole concept. Pretty cool, eh!
