i thought maybe i was the only one experiencing slow loads. i cant even go on it right now at those speeds, it drives me nuts.
i got in but it did take a while ...the choices for avatars are pretty cool nice pics...they definately put alot more options in there

I got a brief look at it before the database problems.
It now atleast shows when I thread is moved, so that will reduce all the "where the hell did my thread go?" posts.
The database error is just their way of saying "Whoops, try that again."

The database is complete. I'll just have to wait to log in again. It took (I'm not kidding) 12 minutes to load the forum, so I didn't feel like waiting any longer for them to email me my password (I haven't had to log in for over a year, how am I gonna remember that long?). I was afraid they might purge some other id's that are in there and dormant, but one thing I tried proves at least 4 of them (not mine, of course) still exist.
Who moved my cheese?
On that note, does anybody have shorty's email addy at McF? I had a question to ask him a while ago, but now I have more. I'll wait a week or two 'til they sort it out I guess.

That was my most rational guess, but I wasn't certain, and didn't want to be asking teck q's about the board if I was sending them to the custodian or something. There could be multiple D. Felkers within McF...
