ok... so this ad isn't all that great...
naturally you will always find thin models
on such ads... models that really have their
cellulite sucked outta them other than
applying some gross oatmeal-ish cream that
does nothing but possibly give you a skin
irritation....

so whats so fancy about this ad????


well.... let's face it....

wtf is this person putting cellulite cream
on the front of her leg? doesn't cellulite
deposits generally occur in the back?? [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img]

The first time I saw the ad .. it was just gross.....

they prolly swiped the pic from a leftover shaving cream ad photo shoot.

Diet and excersise.

On a side note,I lost about 30 lbs a few years ago,but damn it! I cant get rid of the sidebags on my gut!...you know ,love handles...

I look fairly descent in the mirror except for the side cars attached to my midsection.

Anybody have any excersise or diet tips for getting my midsection tuned up?

And no,Im not rubbing baking soda,or oatmeal on my body!

You cant spot reduce fat in one certain area by trying to target it. All targeting a specific area does is help build the muscle in that area.
To lose the flab that you've got, you pretty much just have to get on a certain exercise routine and start burning up calories.

Each individual has a place in their body where fat is stored first. For many, it is the "love handles" as you describe, Trampy. Unfortunately when burning fat, however, that is the last place that will burn off unfortunately which is why its so tough to lose it.

er you can certainly tone an area by targeting it

if you'd like to find out more about this...type in "Spot reducing" in any search engine.

As for movie stars hiring personal trainers...personal trainers help with much more than telling someone to "lift that dumbell over there". They are a huge mental boost and provide a lot of motivation. Many of them also help with diet, which is a huge key to getting and staying in shape.

ok...im not going to argue what good trainers are or arent...ive never had one. im sure they all have their different training methods and all that jazz.

i will argue all day long, however, that you cant target a specific area to reduce flab in. so 4h...

yes yes....i understand what you were saying was about trainers and not flab busting. and yes...you have indeed given me some good advice..and tbh, a professionals recommendations still just "advice" at best. everyone's body is different and a "trainer" cant know how to maximize output for each and every individual that comes through.

and the only reason i brought that up was i was still pissed at 4h for doubting what i said. for i am TG and 4h is but a lowly New Zealander.

i am 4h's wee sister so i to am from new zealand where they play "rugby" and i am here to agree with tg (god help me now [img]eek.gif[/img] ) that you cant spot reduce a certain area. i have just completed an assessment on it for my physical education class and we learnt all about these myths. amazing what people believe!... even some of those so called "bright sparks" believe it [img]tongue.gif[/img]
