ok... i'm making a post.
i have battled with myself for a while now,
and i've finally decided to just go ahead
and talk about it.
#1 -- i have a cough
#2 -- its the annoying type of cough that
sneaks up on you by causing a slight tickle
in the back of your throat then forces you
to cough quickly and violently in a spontaneous
fashion.
in short... it sucks ass
#3 -- while in the supermarket (i've always
wanted to use that word in a serious manner)
i was in the cough drop aisle...

.... #3a) i hate cough drops... i hate ALL
cough drops to the extent that i would almost
rather bear the cough than to allow a horrible
tasting candy-like piece of scientific
evolution to disolve into a heaping, vaporous
demon intent on causing my nasal passages to
burst and my breath to announce my sickness
2 miles down the road with its overbearing
menthalyptus stench.
THATS how much i hate cough drops....
*ahem*

... and after glaring at each of the cursed
cute little packages i decided to nab a bag
of ricola.....
it was a simple guess as i've never had
these before....
they taste.... 'odd' [img]confused.gif[/img]

yuck..those are very weird..ya know i have a cough like that and its just from dry passages..i keep some hard candy round...lemon drops..horehound..even that christmas candy ribbon looking stuff..its no fun tho..ive had it so bad i turned bright red and was gasping for air..talk about embarrassing.. [img]redface.gif[/img] allergies can cause it too...but i like the vitamin c drops too they have out..or the kids cough drops..in grape.. [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]

Blaze took the words out of my mouth.... we get the Vitamin C ones here, cause Cody is awful fussy about that stuff, he won't take pills, liquids, nothing and he HATES cough drops too.... but he will suck on one of those and it helps and they taste pretty good.... so they be good stuff in my book.....

Heh, i know that stuff, actually, i kinda like it!
Then again, it was our standard cough-drop/sweet sort of thing when i was just a kid.

yes of course! a dry throat! DOH! now that vitamin
C drops were mentioned, i wish i woulda thought
about nabbing some of those [img]frown.gif[/img] they are so tasty
these ricola things just taste weird... though
i will say that they don't have the unpleasant
vapor thing going on... so thats a plus.
as for the ricola man......
dc, i dunno what price i'd have to pay, but boy,

oh man...i had that cough too...for like almost 2 months. after coughing i felt like i couldnt breath or anything. my face got all red and as my friend so nicely stated "it sounded like you were having a stroke' it sucked sooo much. the doctor prescribed some medicine but it didnt help. In the end my friend gave me theres one type of halls...something "ice blue" i nono...but that realy helped a lot!
and are the ones ur talking about those flavored ones?

around february my son Cody had that cough.... I let him use a throat spray I have and he hated it at first but he helped subdue the cough at night so he could sleep.....

i once tried a throat spray several years ago...
i wasn't very good at it because most of it would
spray all over the insides of my mouth and NOT
in the general direction of my throat....
it was horrid! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
as for the ice blue halls.... if there were ever
any halls i would take, i generally prefer the
spearmint? wintergreen? something like that...
but i can't find them here [img]frown.gif[/img]
