Yes that's right, Andy Kaufman's supposedly faked his death. Even if he
wasknown for making big pranks, I'm sure I'm not alone in doubting this one.
They've even posted new Tony Clifton photos on that Andy site.
I hope he does, just so Lawler can kick his ass again.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hell if all this is true, chances are that a lawler/kaufman rematch is already planned for pay-per-view. Quote:

LOL!
oh man, I would kill to see that!!
That's freaky..What's next? Jim Morrison?
Sounds like his business partner wants to cash in on the gag. All the characters he wants to play seem to be disguises that anyone can play much like the Tony Clifton character.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Bob Zmuda, right? It would seem pretty direspectful on his part, seeing as how they were friends and all. Unless Andy left secret intstructions for someone to pull this years after his passing. That's just speculating though, chances are it's something more mundane...or more crazy???Quote:

Funny how I talked about that last week (on the 20 years anniversary of his death) and nobody reacted

And since he "did," I have to say I am skeptical, in Kaufman style, but I want very badly for it to be true.
I'll truly believe it when I see him out of costume on television, like Dateline, 20/20, or even Letterman or something.
I sort of think like CM - maybe he left instructions, etc.
We'll see!
Well guys, the question just came to a swift end:

Here's a portion of the article:
"The supposed recent photographs of Andy (appearing as Tony Clifton, his abusive lounge singer character) displayed in the blog were taken from a 17 May 2004 Andy Kaufman tribute event held at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada, during which Kaufman's friend and writing partner, Bob Zmuda, played Tony Clifton.Zmuda himself said, during a 1999 interview:
'The hoax and the practical joke are lost art forms.' But did Andy Kaufman pull one last stunt on his deathbed at age 35? No, says Zmuda. 'Andy Kaufman is dead. He?s not in some truck stop with Elvis.' While Kaufman tinkered with the idea, tells Zmuda, he never brought it up again."

The Bunny Ranch in Nevada, I've been there..... I mean, I've heard of that place.
