alright, so my band starts recording tomorrow. i'm very excited for this. it shall be a daunting task...we have 24 or 25 songs to record. while i wasn't at practice, the rest of my bandmates used a friends computer to record one of our songs. it's definately not one of the best ones, but it's fun and a preview of what is to come...

okay, so after our first day of recording(12 hours...i didn't do much) i'm getting quite pumped for the record. it's sounding really awesome. TONS better than that piece of shit mp3 i posted. once it's all put together i'll be sure to get something up as soon as i can. we still have at least 2 more days ahead of us to get it all recorded...

we got the basic drums, bass, and guitar done on 19 of the 24 songs today. got a bit stressful since they didn't want to take many breaks and were getting rather irritable, but it's sounding killer...

how are ya recording?
we're doing it with this local guy...actually in my drummers basement. he has a bunch of nice equipment, though. and we have a nice setup going with the way his basement is...guitar amp in one room, bass amp in another, and drums in another. this way everyone can be in the same room with headphones on hearing everything, but the instruments can remain sepperate from each other

second day went pretty well...it's sounding really good, we just didn't get that much done for vocals. today my voice is too fucked to do much of anything. kind of sucks...
