Is there a variant of TH? I just got one from KB26 for a friend and this one is alot darker then mine, i'll post pics if anyone wants to see.
Has anybody else noticed or has it been brought up before and i just missed the info?

Ok hang on pics coming? it looks like it has more blackwash and the reds are darker.
Ok here's the pics its kinda hard to see cause my camera sucks, but if you look at viking spawn you can see one is way darker then the other, and look at the front amour on the horses put in front of your face and they stand out from one another.

I don't believe that is a variant, IMO in early production paint runs, the paint itself is fresh and does tend to leave a lighter finish on plastic.
Dude this thing is way to dark, if you seen it it person you would know what im talking about, this has ALOT!! of black wash on it and the reds seem a sade or two darker.
I believe you of what you say, I have the same situation with my Soild Snakes 2, and in koas's collection we've even come across this with various other figures from Series 21 and onwards.
Best bet to solve this mystery is to ask Steve and I'm sure he'll clear it all up for us. [img]wink.gif[/img]
I was thinking maybe they did a second run and made these with more blackwash, even the horse is a darker tone.

It could be that the wash was'nt thinned down as much as the first production runs?

Also look at the armour wing tip on the horses head, one is silver, the other is black, and the armour on the front of the horse you can see the flame paint job on the light version.
You don't see it on the dark version.

Well I e-mailed Steve, hopefully he can give us an explanation.
it's just a paint shade variation. nothing major looks like. prolly some kid had a lot of time left in his shift and a lot more paint left...so, what the hell, let's give it a second coating. stuff, ya know...
