I'm curious to know? I remember one or two from the Spawn.com board, but there are so many changes and new ones. Even I have changed mine.
Anyway mine use to be Wolfprayer on Spawn.com (still is over there), but ever since Matrix 2 Reloaded was released, I was given a pair of the original Neo glasses. Well since I already share a common complection with Mr Keanu and with the added shades, my name became Neo amongst my family and close friends.
So I selected Chosen One (Neo's purpose [img]wink.gif[/img] ) as my new handle.

monkeyboy was a joke nickname my older brother occasionally called me years ago, although why he called me this was just somewhat random...no real reason for it, in other words.
then when I finally bought a computer and got online, I tried to pick an "internet handle" for eBay, AOL IM, message boards and what not. I wanted to use the correctly spelled "monkeyboy" but it was already registered everywhere. so I just kept altering the spelling until I landed on "munkkeyboy".
lots of people think it's a reference to the guitarist for Korn, but it's not. I wish my explanation was more exciting than that, but oh well [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]

Chaser, I honestly thought your name came from the 'chase figures of Nitro Riders.' Because when I stumble across you on the Spawn.com board, I could never forget your search for those variant gold and silver Nitro Riders, and have I believed since then your name came from that.

yeah a lot of folks have said they thought it was due to chase figures or having chasers after a beer. but alas, its only due to some hockey player from the St Louis Blues that I used to love watch fight. they called him Chaser and I was a fan, so there ya go

Alot of people believe they have a "kindred spirit" in the animal world. You have all seen it whether it's your mother, aunt, friend , brother , they all feel attached to a certain animal.
People collect symbols of these animals throughout their homes. Mine and my wife's just happens to be Dolphins.
Heck our wedding rings have a dolphin on them, everyone of my tattoos is something to do with them.

whilst playing Jedi Outcast online, I was using a Spidey skin, and the name "Peter Pecker".
I joined a game where some parents were playing with young kids. the father asked if I'd mind changing the name, due to said kids.

it's a kind of moth. I found the name in a book on insects one day, in the section about moth and butterfly wings. I liked the sound of it, and needed a name for the white board, so I used it for that.

Mine derived from a night of copious amounts of caffiene and suger while listneing to Manditory Metallica on Friday night Radio of a station out on the west coast.
Afer zoning out with the music set to loud, and the neighbors banging on the wall - it was just the first phrase in my head. Since I was intending to sign up for a new ISP at the time, I just used it.

Mine is from Harry Potter. For those that don't know, all the kids at the wizard school are sorted into one of four "houses" (dorms) when they first arrive at the school. Slytherin is the name of one of the four houses, the one that - allegedly [img]wink.gif[/img] - all the cutthroat, cunning, devious minded people are sorted into. Professor Severus Snape (played by Alan Rickman in the films) is the head of Slytherin House.
I love the Potter books, love the character of Snape in particular, love Alan Rickman, and have had people joke that I must be a Slytherin since I'm a lawyer, so.....

I used to have a friend who got me into collecting and long story short when you think you know somebody sometimes you really dont! So after I got completely screwed by this guy I felt like I was at war with myself and my toy collection, so I decided to sort through it and sold off over half of my collection ridding myself of any associative memories concerning said friend. Around that time is when I joined the Spawn boards and decided to rebuild my collection so Toy Warrior just stuck out.

My nickname was one that I was dubbed the second day that I was alive.
My initials are M.A.K. and my mom and dad call me me 'Mak.' My goofy Uncle called me Mak-aby (a combination of Mak and baby)when he came to visit my mom in the hospital after she gave birth to me, and still uses the nickname today.
I self destroyed the Mak nickname for everyone but immediate family in the second grade. Being a chubby kid called Mak people always teased "Big Mak" and wanted to know where I kept my special sauce...that got old and Mak had to go.
Just recently my sister and brother's spouses have both called me "Mak" and both were told (by me rather bluntly) that they are not BLOOD family and that they are not allowed to call me that.
I adopted the Macabeee handle when I first got online and was registering for a Yahoo email account. Right at the point that I was asked for an ID I got bouced offline by that same goofy Uncle calling my dad.
When I got back on and got back to being asked for a name, Mak-aby was on the top of my head. I changed the spelling (someone already had macaby and macabee) and viola!!
