Is it in the same vein as The Love Drag years and Where On Earth can you find it !!!!
Side Note: i was in a 99 cent store few weeks back and they had about 50 copies of the love drag years in the longbox . This is a pretty common cd i guess ..do you think they are worth anything in the longbox ? ... i should of least bought One.
Makes me mad when i see Something i like in a Bargain bin or really cheap like that if i already own it...Cool as hell tho when ya don't have it THO !!!!
I have a cdr of Go Go Girls In Love. Not bad. Not great. Definitely not as good as Love Drag Years, though.
Again i agree with Lycan. It'z a pretty good album but nowhere near az energetic or catchy in my opinion az Love Drag Yearz. Then again though, it was only their debut [img]smile.gif[/img]

Both are good, but LDY is better. I wish I would see that cd for 99 cents. I only have it on tape. Go Go Girls....I only have a copy of it on tape. I think the original is probably pretty rare, and not on cd at all. I might be wrong, but it's probably just a cdr that has been transferred from tape, if you can get a copy.
has anyone seen any recent Star Star shows? i know they just opened for Alice Cooper over in europe. just wondering how they are as a 3 piece being that i loved jay hening. (well four piece i guess, they now have a girl singing for them but i don't know, i think she just does backups) i really think jay is the reason love drag years is better than go go girls.
I thought that they were a 4 piece still, and that the other guy was also a guitarist, but he and Johnny were splitting the vocals almost right in half.
I still wonder of they ever did do anything again. I think it is all a big lie. I mean, they are one of the most loved in the underground, yet there is no boots or anything of their new stuff floating around??? No word on the shows that they have been doing for a few years now? How is this possible? Surely somebody has taped a show at some point???

When I learnt that Alice Cooper was going to perform live in Athens I almost fell to sensory aphasia, which I should say is preferable than the heart attack I expected to happen to me. This lasted until I arrived at Petras Theatre last Wednesday, when it was abruptly substituted by other feelings that I will try to describe in this text without exaggerating too much. Almost impossible, I think.
The gig was supposed to start at 21:30 with Star Star, the support group. They played for about 35 to 40 minutes, but the crowd was not touched neither by their Sleaze Glam with many Punk features nor by Johhny Holiday, the frontman, with his mini-dress or Weeds? new haircut. It was only when they played Pizza Pattie, from their last album, that people woke up and this is quite unfair for them because this group has almost 20 years of experience behind them and certainly a unique style. Anyway, only a really famous band or artist would manage to attract the audience?s attention in such a case. People were there to see Alice Cooper and anything else would be just a delay."

Actually, I don't know how you can say that Marillion doesn't exist. You acknowledged in a thread that you got the pack, thereby recieving a 21 disc pack from me that includes every album that they recorded, with a fine written review and background on every album, plus a CD with a few of their videos. Granted, I was cheap and did not send jewel cases, but ya know, I do what can.
Plus Marillion has entered into the top 10 charts in Europe, and is having some fine success with the new album.
So I have no idea what you are talking about.
Oh, and if your comments are your way of saying you find the music poor from Marillion, then pass it along to somebody who cares. I know Al would love to have those discs.

Okay kids. Gather around grandpa here (I mean me, not carl). Way back when. Let's say about a year ago, our hero, your's truly, requested some music from Carl by a band called Marillion. Days, weeks, and months went by and there was no sign of this music. As a result, we posted that the band must be ficticious due to the fact that after a year's wait, there was no cdr. After that year, we received a paper bag in the mail. In the bag, mixed together with some torn up paper, was several cdr. They read 'Marillion'. As a result, our hero now knows that this band exists. Our last post was a joke, kids. Do you hear me, kids? J-O-K-E Okay, that's enough story time for today. Mandi seems to have quit her job as intern so somebody get me a coffee already. lol

<font size="3" face="Arial">Some jokes tend to wear real thin after a bit of time though, and the fact that stuff being sent to people for FREE still gets bitched about, tends to make some people a little touchy. It took sometime, yes, but I believe we have all waited for stuff from time to time, and it never gets bitched about on the boards. But you never chose to let an opportunity slip past to get a jab in. And then in the end, after all the shit was sent to you, you still have digs. Sorry there were no jewel cases and only a four page "essay" on the band plus three discs of videos including almost every video Hanoi had done plus the Demolition 23 video along with a bunch of Suzi Quatro vids, Sweet, a bunch of visual kei stuff from Japan, and also every other video you will find on my computer.
