I'm on a zombie cinema kick (is that an oxymoron?) lately. so far I have seen:
Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Shawn of the Dead
28 Days Later
...and I would have seen Land of the Dead if it was playing anywhere near me still (guess I'll have to rent that one eventually).
Can you peeps recommend any more good zombie movies? Preferably made within the last 5-7 years...
the last 5-7 years kinda limits it a whole a lot, man...

Those are the best zombie films <u>ever</u> made. Period.

...at the time, in the mid-thrities, it was pretty edgy and controverial, y'see.
Pretty good film, if youc an find a decent copy.
Doesn't Evil Dead have zomies in it? It's been an extremely long time since I saw that movie.
At the risk of starting a revolt, a find all older zombie movies to be tedious at best. In the initial list, you've seen the best three zombie movies of all time ... in my opinion.

Recent flicks means the Dawn of the Dead remake and the can't-miss Shaun of the Dead have to be there.
I haven't seen the aforementioned Undead yet, but heard some good things about it considering its a low budget independent flick.
And of course we were just treated to Land of the Dead, which wasn't a classic but isn't bad. And what was the name of the Peter Jackson flick? Dead Alive I believe...
And while it isn't technically a zombie flick in the traditional sense, you should see 28 Days Later.

and DIon, I get what ya mean... I loved Dawn of The Dead, but it's also really drawn-out...
Porthos, is Undead kinda verging on a comedy like I think I heard? Or Im confused...
The 3 you named are my faves....I've heard good things about Fulcii's(sp?) Zombi but I've yet to see it.
