not sure if i've suggested this before and maybe it's too late now (but would be considered in the future) but if i were commissioner, i'd do away with all conferences and divisions. it'd all be 1 big league and all the top teams would make it to the playoffs- no more if this weaker conference/division/wild card crap that we see all the time in pro sports.
each team could play each other twice (home and away) and the top 16 teams go to the playoffs with 1 playing 16 (getting reshuffled if there are upsets, to keep value on regular season records/homecourt).
i'd also like to see a "losers" playoff for the lower 16 teams but that's another discussion for another time.
yes you did mention all that before ... and thats not up to us but to Scott but I dont think any of that will ever happen since this game in one way or another tries to imulate the NBA and the NBA does nothing of what you talked about.
i thought this league was supposed to be about change and making it the best it could be. shouldn't it be about the best playing the best? shouldn't it be about improving what's wrong in today's NBA?
Sorry man, but the more divisions there are the better the pennant chases are. I was all against MLB going to 6 divisions. Now I think it's great.
also this league has to work within the coding parameters of the rest of the leagues
if you think theres so much wrong with pro sports and this game then go make a pro sport league and your own game, damn your annoying

lol ... i dont think you are annoying sandman however you are asking for changes that none of us can do anything about.
..... this league is about change however its change that is some what in our control of asking for ... we are changing nothing that has to do with the games CODE unless we ourselves can monitor it such as the contracts and player releasing.

and my man, if i had the skills, i'd do what you suggested. however, i don't. i'm on webtv. if you don't know what that is, it's poorman's net hooked up to your tv. i can surf/email but that's about it. i'm very computer illiterate.
hell, if i had the power, i'd be commissioner of the NBA. i have strong opinions and am not afraid to voice them. this is a message board to share ideas and hopefully to make a very good game even better.
my suggestion doesn't need to happen this season but i'd still like to see it considered down the road, as see "weak conferences" as a problem with pro sports, as far as playoffs/championships are concerned.

well you also played badly at indianapolis and basically havent looked particularly good over the last 4 plus years,
also king its not that you arnt using good players its that they dont know how to play basketball in an international sense its a different game to the NBA
It's not that we lost Olympic Basket ball. It's how badly we lost it, and how poorly e acted. Real simularto the "Dream Team" USA hockey team that trashed a locker room when we couldn't perform.
-- USA should have sent an amateur team over that had been playing togetehr for a year. WE should have been able to compete fine, and possibly win it all in Basketball with college players or non-pros, that had time to play together.
