After running my errands at lunch and driving back to the office in a Gas Guzzling American V-8, while eating a McDonalds Quarter Pounder with Cheese, while listening to a Live Sammy Hagar CD... it hit me.

The amp is capable of sounding like two different vintage amps at once, either one in each 12" speaker, or blended together in stereo....
... I saw this amp back stage at the Grand Ole Oprey in Nashville when they were selling for $1200.... This model is currently being phased out for $699 (because the general guitar-buying population likes Gee-Whiz lights and phaser effects) but this was the last one in the store and I got it brand new for just over $400.
Hell, a celestion loaded speaker cabinet can cost that much. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
I have an amp on ebay that's already bid up in the mid 300's so this amps practically paid for already. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ideally, I'll get my Mesa Rack finished in the near future (I've got the tube amp, the rack, a compressor, and a digital reverb... just need to cough up the cash for the Recto Recording Pre and some Cabinets)
I actually went in the store to get a 2x12 cabinet and eventually I want a pair of 2x12's that I can run in stereo.
This is a hell of a step in the right direction for a 1/4 the cost. [img]wink.gif[/img]

A guy on another forum just sent me a piece of software called "Patch Manager"
The amp has two MIDI connections I can actually go in and tweak the sounds of each amp model to customize the amp further. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Not exactly... the L47 that was the optional upgrade engine in the Aurora had a smaller bore size (down to 4.0L instead of 4.6), but it produced 250hp and 260fp of torque....
... even the 94 Caddy STS detuned down from 300HP to 270.... So I got the year with the most horse power (until the recent 345hp version) and the sportiest suspension (until recent rear drive version) but I paid less for the entire car than you did on repairs alone. [img]wink.gif[/img]

Well... 4G, but the bluebook on it is 12 and it's fully loaded, power sunroof, satellite radio, and power everything.
Well, everything but the antenna... The power antenna was fubared, I replaced it, it was REALLY NOISY going up and down, I said screw that, it'll probably get stuck in the winter anyways, and put a $12 mast on it and called it a day. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
