First off, what do you need to upgrade when you get the 8 PSI pulley for the JRSC? I'm about to get the pulley and I don't need any problems. Also my GS-R slips out of fifth gear during acceleration. I'm hoping worn engine mounts are causing the engine to rock and the car is slipping out of gear. Is there anything else I should look at? If you go 8 psi you will need new belts to compensate for the new pulleys.

If you go 8psi, and replace the SC pulley, you don't need new belts. You just need to tighten the SC belt down more, it will fit.
As for the slippage, sounds like a slipping clutch, it may be going out.
Make sure you've got enough fuel, and as always I recommend the J&S with 8psi.

Just as Larry at Endyn says all time, they save engines. I know first hand (personal experience) that they do save engines. Also slightly larger injectors are looking to be the consensus for the "Next" step.
Lund is right, is he ever wrong http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif You don't have to install new pulley belts with the upgrade because its only a 0.2" difference in overall diameter of the 8psi (3.8") pulley compared to the 6psi (4.0") stock pulley on the GSR kits.

I would also be interested in the install notes of the B&M regulator...seems simple enough but more and more people seem to be having problems getting the pressure backed back down.

Sorry, but lundgren is going off of slightly tainted info. We did reuse the belt in my 8psi application, and Jackson said it could be done, but on the cold days, the belt has been slipping at 7k+. My belt had been on for a little while and had already shrunk a little, but we had to tighten it down as far as it could go. I now recommend finding a belt that is at least 10 if not 20mm smaller. Call Jackson and ask for their recommended sizing on an 8psi setup. I am going to replace mine after winter.

Not too tainted though... Mr Rogers belt fit, with room to spare, and it was the belt for the 4 inch pulley. If the belt is old, then yes, you may want to replace it with a smaller one, but you might be ok, you'll just need to check the fit on your car.

Yes, MrRogers was probably not as tigth because he hasn't driven it enough. He needs to tighten it down in a week or two after it shrinks up. Then he may not have as much room left. I would still get a smaller belt to use.

No worries, Geek and I are friends. He's right though, and if you (Mr Rogers) find that your SC belt slips you may need to get a new one... time will tell.
When I go 8psi, I'm going to re-use it, unless of course it won't fit.
JR supplies a 610mm belt with the 3.8" pulley.
