Hey it's my first post here, this is a great board! I've read this board for a while but never posted anything.
Anyhow, I'd have to disagree with the above post regarding PBF. If you're into glam as I suspect most people are here, Electric Boyz is for sure a must have if you ask me.
Joey C Jones and the Glory Hounds never did anything for me- too keyboard heavy if you ask me, great songs, great melodies, but the keyboards just kill it for me. Now the Sweet Savage "Archives" cd that just came out is IMO a better representation of Joey C Jones and shows why as another thread on this board mentions- they should have been the glam band to make it big.
Of course the obvious glam must have would be Poison's "Look What The Cat Dragged in."
I always liked Tuff's "What Comes Around." I still listen to that to this day at least once a week.
I don't have any of the rarer stuff like Alleycat Scratch or any of the hard to find stuff, so I can't say about those. I'd love to hear them but unfortunately I can't afford the e-bay prices those things go for.
Anyhow, how's that for a first post?

Tell ya what though, I have a hard time disagreeing with anything here really, as most of these discs are in my collection, even LWTCDI!!! Though, that one is really my wifes, but in my house it does lurk.
I just still disagree with Journey. Ugh...again. I was at a party once and a bunch of guys were sitting around going on and on about how brilliant Journey was, all on account of Peary being a "song bird". I tell ya, it was a most embarassing display of sissiness.

Actually, the Supersonic Storybook is better than Saturation as a whole, but those two songs are great, I agree! "Positive Bleeding" is one of the greatest choruses ever! And "Sister Havana", four chords for the entire length, done brilliantly so that it seems like it is many riffs, but there is only one! Urge was a GREAT band.

Exit was cool, but the peak, IMO, really was Supersonic. I don't even own Exit though.
Yeah, they were a Chicago band that was ruined by ego. Eddie started thinking he was too much the shit, Nash started thinking he was the shit, things got wacky, and now the two don't even speak. Eddie has had a few bands since then, none of whom did anything, and Nash had a solo CD that was pretty cool stuff.
Shame, they should have had the success that Smashing had since Urge was great and the Pumpkins suck.

New here. but have been lurking for a while. I was drawn here by my Soxtalk friend Carl - HIYA CARL! - and I really enjoy reading your opinions! Hopefully, I can add something worth reading as well!
The CD I think everyone should own is "Earth Vs. The Wildhearts! My favorite band!
And I agree with Carl - I never got into Journey at all either. My younger sister was always listening to that while I was TRYING to listen to Tank, Raven, Faster Pussycat, etc etc.
