"Cabin Fever"..... ?????

How many of you have seen this movie?

I never gave it a second glance in the theatre or on the rental rack, but while doing some late night channel surfing, I got drawn in and ended up staying awake until 2 watching it.

While not a "complete" or "consistant" movie, it did contain some of the grosses scenes I've ever seen. To qualify that, they weren't particularly graphic (like DA ripping Andyman's spine out) but the kind that you can realistically picture in your mind... feeling that razorblade peeling off the bloody scabs..... [img]eek.gif[/img]

Movies like that make you imagine that every scratch and mosquito bite you have is about to open up and spill your guts on the floor. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

The redneck humor is it was a bit unevenly handled, but isn't that dissimilar to the comedic moments in evil dead 1 or 2.

the martial arts pancake scene with the little girl was the wierdest and most confusing thing i have ever seen in a movie.

I was laughing my ass off when that little BOY [img]wink.gif[/img] did that


but yeah, I saw it one day on TV, loved it, and has a couple o' dudes from Detroit Rock City [img]biggrin.gif[/img] (the movie)

I actually really liked Cabin Fever....and part of it was filmed near me.... [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

A film that can gross you out baimun?? This from the man with the exploding head. [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img] I have to check it out! [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img]

i didn't like it at all---almost as much as i didn't like HoaTC

I thought it was mediocre.

Good film! It is basically just a nod to many of the horror films from the 70's and 80's, and the director freely admits it. He is also a huge fan of the Evil Dead films, and that is obvious. The way it ends is a direct homage to Night of the Living Dead. which, in my opinion, has the best ending in a horror film ever.

on a side note, ass-play boy in the movie is also in Super Troopers (a genious movie [img]wink.gif[/img] )

I enjoyed it, and even bought the DVD.


His fingers weren't in the girl's butt...

Loved it. Goff and I went to a screening before it opened and I've rented it a couple times since. Very good.

The pacing (like the stuff with the pancake kid) is extremely odd.... almost like pieces of a camping comedy and camping horror movie got mixed into the same reel [img]wink.gif[/img] ....

... but it was entertaining.

Pooh... not in a "nausiating, I can't look" way... but more like a "nails on the chalkboard... ooh that's gotta SMART!" way. [img]wink.gif[/img]
