Did anyone actually like the band Skin?
I had some of the singles with the cover songs on which I quite enjoyed, and also the 2nd album.
What happened to them when they split?

Hell yeah! SKIN was awesome!...loved their bluesy hard rock style and an occasional gospel-vibed ballads. Great band.
I thought Skin were ok, typical Brit rock. Nothing special.
I think I preferred Myke and Andy's previous band, Jagged Edge, With Matti Alfonsetti and Fabio Del Rio.
Another killer band there Stacey.
Jagged Edge was awesome.
I liked 'em, though it wasn't my usual kinda preference. Good songs, good live show. My band played second on the bill to them at a charity all-dayer in Nottingham and they were really nice blokes. AND they let us use all their gear!
Ratbags, is this the same charity bash that
we (Ratpack) played, too? Dumblaine disaster, I
think it was. The second band on the bill was
The Vamps? (Was that their name?)

Again I liked the first cd never brought any of the others and I can secong that they are great guys, saw them at an all-nighter at Rock City and they came and had a dance with me
How many times did they say 'Baby' in Look But Don't Touch???
ROTFLMOA!!!!
It was a serious question, lol.
Can someone count for me, cos I can't be arsed.
Actually, I just wondered if anyone knew the figure off the top of their head. I'm sure the question has cropped up at some point, and I couldn't be bothered to go to the trouble of listening to it.

<font size="4" face="Arial">Yeah, that was the one, at the Tivoli Rock Cafe. I'd forgotten about the Vamps actually; technically we (Assassination Bureau) were third on the bill, Skin were second and the Vamps went on last for some reason. Skin definitely went on straight after us.Quote:

Didn't realise you were on too, I missed quite a bit of the day (we got there pretty late cos our van driver had to work that day).
It was fun using Skin's gear, that Pearl Masters kit was lovely to play, and our guitarists loved having full Marshall stacks to play with...!

We stayed upstairs until, at least, The Vamps
crawled out of the toilet/dressing room, so
we must have seen you play. We were on late
afternoon sometime... the crowd were still quite
apathetic/sober so our singer spat beer over them,
which didn't help. Good day, though. Some of the
anecdotes still have a bit of mileage in them.
