I'm really bothered that the "runaway bride" actually was fined and now has a criminal record when those in Hollywood actually use the institute of marriage for apparent financial gain.
A judge full of wisdom, a forward thinking defense attorney and perhaps the runaway bridge avoids the full brunt of her situation by having a Hollywood pop tart come in and offer financial restitution on her behalf. I would have loved for a Hollywood star to have stepped in on behalf of the runaway bride and saved her from an angry public upset with the wasteful use of police resources and paid her fines.
