I installed Win XP two days ago; ive had the soundcard for a few years with Win ME and it always worked fine.
I see theres no XP drivers for the card so i had to tell Win XP to use Win2k drivers.
I have a problem with Win XP: it stutters every now and then, it's like a CPU usage surge. It's very notable in mouse movements and stuttering audio playback.
For some reason I think that this problem has to do with my EWS 64 XL as it's pretty much the only device in my setup without XP drivers, and also, its synth says, in the device manager, that "the currently installed Device Driver does not support plug and play" and the very same info is given for digital control.
This kinda lets me think that something's not right here.
What should I do?
Any help would be appreciated!
