The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has set a list of standards for portable video players. This will make interoperability a little more feasible. "This standard marks a milestone in the development of open industry standards. With its publication, this common connector standard will more easily enable device interconnectivity in the homes and cars of consumers," said a Microsoft chairperson in response.
