What are some of your favorite stories with a horse?

I am definitely going to show my age here. lol

My favorite television show was called Mr. Ed and it was about a man who lived in the suburbs, but he had a very elegant stable in his backyard. In the stable lived his best friend, a horse named Mr. Ed. Oh yeah, Mr. Ed could talk. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Another favorite horse siting was in the books or movie about Pippi Longstocking. She had a horse that lived in her house.

Notice that both of my stories involve very improbable scenarios of horses living with people who like me, don't have a lot of land. I can dream can't I? lol
