Deleting Topics

I asked about this many months ago and have been hoping for a fix.
Maybe I'm missing something. Is there a way to permanently delete a topic.
The "soft deleting" thing is inadequate.

We have had some development setbacks due to personal issues taking presidence. We will be ramping up development within the next few days and will make sure this is on the very short list of things to look at.
