Altec 14 new owner

Hi everybody few days ago I got a pair of Altec 14 they are in general good conditions but they need a bit of tlc, the grilles cloth need to be changed but I want to replace them with something close to the original, so translucent and a little bit thick, the veneer needs to be refinished there are some blamishes on the top of the enclosures but I don?t know which is the best finish/oil to use...I would say danish oil but I?m not shure if that would be close to the original finish.
Do you have any suddgestion for these two issue?
