The Three were Misguided, that was something that the Phoneix knew for certain. As surely as she knew that her mate had come and gone... had been so close that the metaphysical hybrid senses of the woman could pick up the smell of him, even the taste of him.
So many names but now she went by Jacinta Malloy. Jinx if you please. Once the Goddess of Luck, Once the Sea Fox amongst so many other things... and now with the few little tastes of the Steele bloodline, Jinx/Lilia/Chance had awakened to new powers. Strangely enough the god powers seemed to have disappeared only to have been replaced with new, stronger powers. Odd...so very odd.
She looked around the room, struggled against the bonds she could not break. How many years... months...days had she been here? She couldn't recall. Never to have died, never to have disappeared... and gods above knew... she never had left.
Taken. Trapt.
The Phoenix did not call for help, she did not cry but she raged. A festering, burning, searing rage that gnawed at her very soul and was building like Armaggedon waiting to be unleashed. She had much to think upon, so much to reflect on. All she had was time... only time until she would escape.
The ties were loosened and the bonds opened. Her mark like a lick of flame against the back of his neck... and only then with that wispy fragment of a touch from her power, only with the touch to let him know that she remained... did the Phoenix rest.

"Devantious."
A cough, rasping words as embers stroked her tongue. Begged her to remember. She felt it like a tearing of ribbons in her soul. The ripple and change of a tide. It was happening again. She knew this from the fact that she was suddenly free. No more bonds.
Without question she took the moment, the time to escape. Rushing out the door she stumbled out into the hallway and sensed as much as she saw absolute chaos.
Beneath in the Crimson Scarf the Three (as they had strangely begun to call themselves) were fighting. Not amongst themselves but strange shadow spirits as much as they were fighting creatures that seemed forged of mist.
"What in the world..."

The glimmer of thought and that suggestion had her tearing off, rushing down the stairs. She knew on instinct where her blades were. Screams of pain developed beneath her defeaning her ears as their cries of pain became a chorus. A Macabre Chant.
The Wolf fell, Silver impaling her on every side. She did not move. Dead to the world and Taboo's eyes glittered with madness as the final sword of pure silve was sent through the Werewolf's heart.
Lilia heard the word screaming of Traitor from the lips of the Vodun Priestess named Taboo even as she started heading for the door. She had to get out of here.
The Three. Those suddenly consumed with the entity of the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone. The Maiden now was dead... the destruction of Merahsha's soul proved such... that left the Mother and the Crone to be destroyed... the Phoenix knew then as she tore into the night that it was the madness of Taboo that had caused these ripples of Fate to tear into the web of life with clawed fingers.
"Help us... by the gods somebody needs to help us."
For a glimmer of a moment Chance worried over the Fate of the Trickster... but knew the woman could survive it all.
"Do not forget me... or have you already."
A whisper outloud as much as in her head. She ran though she didn't know where she was running to... only that she had to. To Devantious, to Pheus and the gargoyles, to the Dancer and the Tiger... if only to find the places were the threads were becoming tarnished before everything fell apart.

One would think that subtle changes would not cause one to forget, but Lilia in some ways appeared different. The shackle marks had healed... but otherwise her reflection and a fresh shower proved that the recent events had aged her... had changed her.
The Phoenix found herself leaning against the cold glass of the mirror as she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. Of any she did not expect for misery and that deep loneliness to cut her so deep. She felt cut off from the world. The connection with Devantious was not so much severed as it was blocked. Trying to push and struggle against those blocks had only evented in giving the once goddess a migraine. There was something to be said from a woman who's telepath and telekinesis had manifested near three times since the last episode...or so claimed... Crystal Saga.
"Damn it Devantious, what is happening."
She ached. Sore muscles were loosened as she stretched and pushed her hair out of her eyes... once red and blue locks were now a wildfire of curls that could compete with any bonfire... fire opal eyes were now a smoldering cinnamon... and her skin like the desert sahara. A grunt and she dressed swiftly.
Clothing had changed, cuts severed into the back of each article of clothing she now wore. For wings that had once appeared at whim, now ever lasted. This was the blessing and curse of being under the punishment and kidnapping of the Three.
A curse of being a Steele. An ill Fate indeed it seemed...and Lilia was drowning in the pool of her own confusion.
