Straight Curve is holding a one-day Camera Skills workshop on Saturday 7th July for new filmmakers.
Straight Curve specialise in training for new filmmakers who would like to learn how to make short movies so no experience required.
This workshop is 85% practical and will look at:
How to operate a camera:
How to approach a scene
Iris
Aperture
Shutter Speed
White Balance
Shot Sizes
Feeding sound through your camera, with or without a mixer
Throughout the day you will divide into groups and go out with a camera to shoot various different scenarios.
At the end of the day you will have enough information and experience to start shooting!
