An alarm system company in SE Portland is hiring a Central Station Monitor.
General Description of Duties:
- Works diligently and effectively with police, fire and medical
authorities in dispatching for emergencies.
- Provides communication support via: 2-way radio, cellular and multi-line
telephones and fax.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision and under the direction of
the Central Station Manager. If working graveyard shift, would need to be
comfortable working alone.
- May need to prepare and submit reports for customers regarding opening
and closing schedules and other data collected.
- Must be able to handle multiple calls coming into the Central Station
calmly and efficiently while responding to emergency situations.
- Must be able to prioritize incoming incidents in a calm and efficient
manner.
- Must be able to enter data into a computer system in an accurate and
timely manner.
Salary Range: $7.05 to $10.00
