Reebok Summer Championships/Las Vegas: schedule & information

NOTE: I will post more information as it becomes available. I will post the amount that a "tournament pass" will cost for the pool games. If you have any questions, please contact Darryl(269-217-6498). Do not contact the Reebok Tournament staff. Thank you!

Once again, the Reebok people have taken care of our program! Our pool play games, both Royal and White, will be at the same venue! I also want to point out to those of you who went last year, that we're at the same school as last year!!

Listed below are the gym addresses and driving directions for all the venues used for the 2008 Reebok Summer Championships. These directions are listed with a starting point of the Excalibur Hotel located at the SW corner of Tropicana and the Las Vegas Strip. A venue map can also be found on our tournament webpage at www.prepchamps.com/summerchampionships. Mannion MS will be added to that map in the near future.

Directions to Game Sites

The Excalibur Hotel is the host hotel and is located at 3850 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89109. This is at the SW corner of Tropicana Avenue and the Las Vegas Strip. All narrative directions to the schools will start from the Excalibur.

Basic HS (400 Palo Verde, Henderson, NV 89015)-Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard for 2.5 miles to Interstate 215 East. Turn left to enter Interstate 215 East and travel east for 10 miles. Take the Lake Mead Parkway, Nevada Highway 564 exit staying in the two left lanes and continue traveling east past the Fiesta Hotel 2.1 miles to the Boulder Highway. Turn right on Boulder Highway and travel south 1.3 miles to Palo Verde Drive. Turn left on Palo Verde Drive and travel north 0.7 miles to the school. The gym is on the north end of the school with the school facing west.

Boulder City HS (1011 Fifth Avenue, Boulder City, NV 89012)-Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard for 2.5 miles to Interstate 215 East. Turn left to enter Interstate 215 East and travel east for 10 miles to Interstate 93/95/515. Take the Boulder City exit and travel south for 10.5 miles to 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue and travel west to the school. The gym is on the south end of the school with the school facing east.

Del Sol HS (3100 East Patrick Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89120) -Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard. Make a quick U-turn on Reno and travel north on Las Vegas Boulevard to Tropicana Ave. Turn right on Tropicana Ave. and go east for 3 miles to Eastern Avenue. Turn right onto Eastern Ave and travel south for 1.5 miles to Patrick Lane. Turn left on to Patrick Lane and travel east for 0.5 miles to the school. The gym is on the east end of the school with the school facing south.

FOOTHILL HS- Tournament Headquarters, we'll have to go here for the NCAA seminar. It's also the best place to purchase tournament souvenir t-shirts as well as "throwback" items and discounted Reebok shoes.

Foothill HS (800 College Drive, Henderson, NV 89015)? Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard for 2.5 miles to Interstate 215 East. Turn left to enter Interstate 215 and travel east for 10 miles to Interstate 93/95/515. Take the Boulder City exit and travel south for 3.5 miles to College Drive. Take the College Drive exit #57. Turn left on College Drive and go 0.5 miles to the school. The gym is on the south end of the school with the school facing east.

Green Valley HS (460 Arroyo Grande, Henderson, NV 89015) - Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard for 2.5 miles to Interstate 215 East Turn left to enter Interstate 215 East and travel east for 8.5 miles to Stephanie Street Exit. Exit Stephanie Street and turn left and travel north on Stephanie for 2 miles to Warm Springs. Turn left on Warm Springs and travel west for 0.5 miles. Green Valley is on the right at the corner of Warm Springs and Arroyo Grande. The gym is on the north end of the school with the school facing west.

Liberty HS (3700 Liberty Heights Avenue, Henderson, NV 89052) - Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard. Travel south on Las Vegas Blvd. 6.4 miles to Cactus. Ave. Turn left on Cactus and travel east 1 mile to Bermuda. Turn right on Bermuda and travel south 0.4 miles to Liberty Heights Ave. Turn left on Liberty Heights Ave. The gym is on the east end of the school with the school facing south.

Mannion MS (155 East Paradise Hills Drive, Henderson, NV 89002) - Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard for 2.5 miles to Interstate 215 East. Turn left to enter Interstate East and travel east for 10 miles to Interstate 93/95/515. Take the Boulder City exit and travel south 3.5 miles to College Drive. Take the College Drive exit #57. Turn right on College Drive and travel south 0.5 miles to Paradise Hills. Turn right on Paradise Hills and travel west for 1.0 mile to the school. The gym is on the south end of the school with the school facing east.

Silverado HS (1650 Silver Hawk Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123) - Turn right out of the front parking lot of the Excalibur and head south on Las Vegas Boulevard for 2.5 miles to Interstate 215 East. Turn left to enter Interstate 215 and travel east for 2 miles to Windmill Parkway. Exit Windmill Parkway and turn left and travel east for 1 mile to Spencer Avenue. Turn right on Spencer and head south for 1.5 miles to Silver Hawk. School is on the right across from Sams Club. The gym is on the east end of the school with the school facing south.
